    Atheists: does God exist?

This recently, and where the video can be found on the internet, such that if some creatures seem so upset as to basic things like food, why would they not feel equally as to much more important things, like life and death? The Science of Reducing Prejudice in Kids

    Atheists: does God exist?

I don't know where you have gotten such a sad outlook on life from but I'm certainly glad not to have such. As to Dylan and the Stones - I like both, but Dylan had the greatest affect on those later I suspect - but his voice no doubt is a matter of taste. o_O

    Atheists: does God exist?

What is unbelievable is that you don't seem to be bothered as to the evidence inevitably coming from our explorations and investigations as to life, the universe, and everything. So that we learn from this - as evidenced by our progress as a species. Why don't you at least try to learn - for...

What Do YOU Think Of When You Hear, Read, or Say the word; "God"?

In as much that we first learn of God(s) from others as children this must be the first example, and when looking into such matters later we will learn as to many different descriptions and attributes for any of these. And mostly being of the monotheistic variety but where some seem to believe...

How Much Do You Doubt God's Existence?

Plenty of room for doubt and hence I can't have a belief as to 100% certainty for either position, but mostly atheist. Probably over 99% (no God) if one can put a figure on such things. Less likely to be more than one god, in my view, but not based on much apart from all the fighting that...

Do atheists PRAY to anybody ?

Given that you mentioned the sea earlier, I can relate two other incidents (adding to the previous ones) where I didn't even think of praying either. Once when I encountered my first gale, and being in command of the yacht, and secondly, in another rising gale (worse), and where we had some...

Do atheists PRAY to anybody ?

Prayer starts perhaps when thinking stops - and where the result will be bad - given you will have little evidence for prayer actually producing a better result than thinking does, and as to such providing decent solutions, if available. o_O

    Mock Turtle world

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-68848418 I've only ever broken down once on a motorway (the M1), when they did have hard shoulders (late 1960s), and in an old and cheap A35 van - student days, and going home to London. The engine conked out, possibly due to an oil leakage, and it seemed...

    The so-called global flood--evidence against

Quite a few on RF seem to think so - hence why we have some threads discussing the topic and going into great detail as to how such happened - but really didn't. o_O

    Afterlife

Hopefully to a medical establishment where my body might be of some use but this cannot be guaranteed. As to anything else, not too bothered, and very few expectations as to anything either - given that I have no such religious beliefs as to an afterlife, reincarnation, or anything similar.

    Are animals conscious? Sentient?

I suspect the big difference between humans and all other life is mainly our use of symbolic language. Love to know what our ancestors were thinking about prior to such existing. And it might not be beyond the bounds of credibility as to many other species learning to use symbolic languages in...
