I have so many favorite instruments. I play both the violin and piano (I'm not all good but love the sound and the way in which you can control them). But there is one instrument that I can never get enough of, the sitar and the artist Ravi Shankar.
No I would not vote for Hillary but if it was a choice between her, Ted Cruz and Donald Trump...I'd go for the former option. But I have a feeling poor Bernie may not get elected because he's too dang liberal for even for the democrats. I could be wrong but I will be surprised if he is.
True story. I hadn't been on FB for a long time until yesterday. I was just
catching up with my friends and family. I never really expressed strong opinions but showed my support by putting a translucent rainbow over my picture in show of support. There were some opinions about it which were...
It's strange that there are aspects I miss given that I was never really fond of, and to a degree skeptical to. The only aspects I missed but sort of doubted were the chances of seeing my family and friends after death. I would say for most of my life, death resulting into grief and depression...
Ok I've been stalking this forum wondering what happened to most of the old members. :( Anyway I might hang around a bit to keep my mind off the terrible heat. Glad to see some familiars. It's been a while since posting here and there. Love reading the debates but not particularly great at...
Probably why I don't watch the media unless the news is of relevant interest. I honestly have never watched the shows that are so called "reality shows" anymore. I have noticed without having to search, that we're constantly bombarded by them but they're fairly easy to avoid unless you have...
I have to be careful because I can easily get attached and focused on objects. Since moving into a small trailer, I've had to be careful not to collect but occasionally I still look for rocks and fossils and stash some in my bag. I've always been fascinated by fossils and old objects like...
I have somewhat mixed views but this is good news and I'm glad to see people of religious affiliations realizing sexual orientations aren't a choice. I'm glad that same sex couples are not only being "tolerated" but getting the rights that in my opinion they deserve.
He/She/They/It would have a lot of explaining to do but more than that, prove someone isn't playing a trick or that I may be losing my mind given that of all times, "He" finally decides to show up. As a former deist, belief alone never satisfied my cravings as I got older. I think at this...
My hats off to these ladies and their bravery. I watched the video before entering this forum and other videos and articles as well. I think what's got my attention more me was not so much the clerics but some of the people from this country (USA) making fun of them and joking about how bad it...
Depends on the authority figures and people involved I tried standing up for myself only to get scolded and bullied at in the most worst way possible. I gradually tried to "disappear" or keep my head down and keep a low profile which helped but it was very stressful since I spend most of my time...
