And I'll just ask, as a person who recognises some of Christianity's origins in Ancient Egypt, could I hope to get a copy of your book?

I haven't erected my altar yet, but I would think to incorporate various Christian and Paganism symbols there, as well as Biblical imagery.

My faith looks to many different sources, including but not limited to Hermeticism, Babylon, Esoteric Christianity, Buddhism, and Hinduism.

Me? Well, thank you for asking! In addition to being a Unitarian Universalist, I'm also a returning Eclectic Pagan and a new Christo-Pagan.

Does the Trinity play a large part in your beliefs? Very interesting nonetheless. And I'd be happy to share a copy of my book with you when it's done.

Uhhhh...yes, actually. Well, sort of, Trinitarian theology plays a key role in how I understand the Divine. Though, I do often place Asherah in the pantheon, as well. The Father and Mother (Jah/Yah/El and Asherah) are the Creators, The Logos is the Highest Man, and the Holy Spirit is the Life Force which animates all that is alive.

        You asked for it....haha

I basically created my own branch of Kemeticism based on my name. They're the three principles I value the most. Heka - Kemetic word for Magic, Ma'at: Truth, order, and justice, and Ra: Creator of all and all the Netjeru (the Gods).

I practice my faith based on reconstructed Ancient Kemetic Temple rituals. So I try to keep things as authentic as humanly possible. I have an elaborate shrine and many statues to which I make my offerings, prayers, and perform my morning ritual.

In my spare time, I'm constantly skimming and reading ancient texts, recording anything I feel bolsters my religion's philosophy. And by that I mean what my religion has to say about universal questions. I hope to one day carefully organize all this information into a book that other Kemetics can use.

What can you tell me about your faith? :)

Hello! My name is Devin Jones, I’m 24 years old, and I’m a Traditional Stoic from Baltimore, Maryland. I’m highly enthusiastic about world history, comparative religions, and ancient philosophy!

“I unequivocally affirm the existence of many gods, yet I worship but one: The Supreme God, Universal Reason, Logos. God is the Soul of the Universe that is ubiquitously present, the Hand of Providence always guiding us toward excellence in virtue and that most sublime state of blessedness.”
