The first question is: "What does one desire?"
The second question is: "What may be done?"
Truth would appear to be what is useful towards obtaining each desire.
Whether this is "Union with God," "immortality of self," or "material wealth."
Walking = walking. The Path we choose, or create...
That is where I would differ. If I have not yet had any evidence or personal investigation, my desire would be to do such and find out.
Knowledge > Faith, when possible for me.
I want to thank everyone for their responses thus far. Please keep them coming!
NOTE: Do not continue to go off topic and debate one another, ad infinitum. I asked the Mods to delete all posts that are not on-topic with the original post's intentions. We are not here to debate, talk down, or...
Hello all,
Preface: Intent is to share your perspective and not to debate one another.
Let me preface this by saying, I am not challenging you or asking you to debate/challenge one another. This is more of a place to respond to the prompts below, and allow others to see one another's...
That is what I am looking for, precisely. Are the recommendations above in line with that? If not, I'd love to check out anything you think would be helpful in line with that.
You do not have to respond, although I would appreciate it. I am not sure how my post count has anything to do with my honest inquiry in this matter.

(a) What are some good books, articles, videos/documentaries, podcasts, and so...
Thank you all for the responses. It sounds like I will just need to do some research on my own, and despite my thanks to those who offered, it appears I can find a Koran without anyone having to pay. I appreciate it.
During these times of fear, I would like to take it upon myself to educate myself, immerse myself, and learn more about Islam. What do you recommend to someone such as myself?
A few things that come to mind, as of now:
-How can I get a Koran (free, if possible)?
-How do I find a local mosque...
One thing I struggle with is the rebellion I feel at the notion of rules; such as dietary restrictions or laws that ask one to refrain from sex before marriage, same sex encounters or even love, and so forth. I ask, is this just my stubbornness and a thing I do not like, or should I find greater...
This makes me think to the experience many have in an out-of-body-experience (OBE), one of which I have had as a child. Also, many countless tales of others who are in a subtler 'place' with a subtler 'body,' but different than this present one.
Many people also experience much of what is...
