    Baptism's for the Dead....

I also agree that we all need to do what we can to save our souls as well as others. The only thing I think we differ on is that we have only one chance to get it right. I believe in reincarnation, and that we have infinite chances to get it right. But thats another story.... : )

    Baptism's for the Dead....

I guess I should clarify a little more. Even though I dont necessarily agree or believe in Baptism's for the Dead, I guess we should look at the sincerity behind it, the motivation. It seems that the motivation is to save souls and do good for all. I think that we have to respect that. I...

    Baptism's for the Dead....

I was born and raised LDS (but no longer active) and when I was young, went on several field trips to the SLC Temple where we did Baptism's for the Dead. This is one thing that I had never really bought into or felt right about was the fact that Mormon's believed that we in a sense would...

I would like to learn how to pray on the Rosary...

Hey fellas, I would love to share the reason why. I was actually raised LDS (Mormon) until I was about 12 and I stopped going to that church. I just felt in my heart something was wrong with it. Anywho, I studied a few different religions and philosophys in High School and stumbled on the...

I would like to learn how to pray on the Rosary...

Wow I have a lot to learn now! I was given a rosary from a friend. Is it considered disrespectful to wear this around my neck, under my clothes? I had been wearing it around my neck, but wasnt sure if this was considered taboo?

I have printed out the prayers and have purchased a Rosary. But I have no idea about how to pray on it properly. Where do I start and where to I end? What prayers do I say in what order? Also, anything else I have missed??? Thanks in advance....:162:

Do Hindu's believe or worship Lord Narasimhadeva?

I personally have never been to one, but have seen many pictures of the temples as well as the alters and Deities. They are beautiful! Im not sure what your question is about Buddha? Are you asking if Buddha is a incarnation of Krishna?

Do Hindu's believe or worship Lord Narasimhadeva?

On the contrary, there are many temples in India where he is worshipped on the alter in deity form. He is VERY much worshippable. I will try to find a short story version to post. Its a wonderful pastime of Krishna.

Do Hindu's believe or worship Lord Narasimhadeva?

I was curious because it seems most Hindu people I have met, are not familiar with Lord Narasimhadeva. He is of course Sri Krishna in the form of Half man, Half Lion. Anyone here familiar with this pastime?

    Rama and Sita.

Hehe, I actually meant body type, but that ok, lol. :) There are 3 basic body types in Ayurveda which are Pita, Kapha, and Vata. Essentially every body is made up of all 3 but usually there is one that is dominant. Pita would be mainly fire, Kapha would be earth, and Vata would be air and...
