  • I take the end game of the myths with all their variations as essentially true. IE: that Zeus is the son of Kronos and assumed rulership of this state of things from him.
    I don't post in the Pagan DIR, but in short: the Greeks used the stories to talk about the gods as they saw them. There are variations of all the stories, meaning they can only be meaningful in a spiritual and symbolic way. I for my own part wouldn't like to think the gods are entirely as described in the myths. I come from a more philosophical bend there.
