And yet another Gaudiya Vaishnava group ...

Vinayaka was referring mostly to the evil present in bhuloka (religious groups fighting for supremacy instead of treating others with love and respect). The demons or asuras you spoke of (as far as i know) are inhabitants of the 7 lower worlds and are not part of devaloka but yes, they are...

And yet another Gaudiya Vaishnava group ...

That is so true. Even though they have made the bhakti movement popular, they still need to work on those areas you mentioned above.

Is there any such verse in Gita?

... that says something like "be in this world but not of this world"? Or ..."one should live like a householder on the outside, but should renounce the world on the inside (i.e. renunciation should happen in the heart even while operating in this world like a family man)?

    How much have you changed

I haven't changed much. I'm still a kid at heart even at the age of 33. The only thing that changed in me is that I have learned not to react to people judging me in real life. All thanks to the RF members who helped me in my spiritual growth.

I guess my approach is different.

I just like to keep an open mind, that's all. :=)

I guess my approach is different.

I doubt that its a work of fiction. The author in his book has mentioned that this information was taken from Tibetan manuscripts which were (and probably still today) are stored in one of their monasteries. Swami Abhedananda, the disciple of Ramakrishna visited one of these monasteries...

So-called 'Brahman' that has no gunas, is that even possible?

It seemed to me you were implying those things in red, even though you didn't explicitly say it in your comment. Sorry about that. Is jiva and paramatma the same according to your beliefs?
