    Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Not to be confused with the anti-Catholic Lutheran Missouri synod or even more anti-Catholic Wisconsin Lutheran Synod. ELCA is the body that participated with the Roman Catholic Church in the Joint Declaration on Justification by Faith. We are in full communion and pulpit fellowship with the Episcopal Church of the USA and Presbyterian Church of the USA.
