The Lord makes sure the temple gets destroyed.

So why are these idiots trying to rebuild it?

    Concerning sacrifice

The prophets were opposed to sacrifices of atonement, and especially bloody sacrifices, as they were against all external penitential ceremonies. God of himself alone forgives sin. This forgiveness is a free gift of God's grace; forgiveness cannot be forced by human action or priestly mediation...

    Concerning sacrifice

Jesus is at the door. Yet... "And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is contrary to you, but you must rule over it.” So my question, is Jesus crouching at the door?

    Concerning sacrifice

How is it the prophets condemned sacrifice, yet salvation is acquired through it?

    Daniel 3:1

I do however, understand that the monument you reference is the Djed. However, when the said Djed enters Lebanon, it becomes a tree.

    Daniel 3:1

I understand that. My question is the usage in Greek. *the word as written, it is "translated" as such.

    Star of Bethlehem?

Does any know what this "star" was/is? I have a speculation: This star is "SadalMelik"... If you can verify the "D", = an "R", you will get King of Israel. To note, in the East, Aquarius was "Ea". SADALMELIK (Alpha Aquarii). Though possessed of a rather obscure name, Sadalmelik, the Alpha...

    Daniel 3:1

Yes, but my question is of the Greek usage of the word translated as "Phylacteries". 5440 phylaktḗrion (from 5442 /phylássō, "to keep, preserve") – phylacteries; small, leather cases containing four key passages of Scripture (Ex 13:1-10, 11-16; Dt 6:4-9, 13-21). Strapped to the inside of the...

    Daniel 3:1

I have considered that also, yet it reminds me of the usage in Matthew 23:5. Whereas translations would have it "phylacteries", but perhaps this word is closer to the poles of Asherah? I wonder this because they used to hang their sons on wooden posts.

    Some questions

Is the use of "Bethany", a literary device of the Gospel to reference a time in the future? Is the saying found in Jeremiah 5:21; Ezekiel 12:2 ( among many others), in reference to those who read the word, but are unable to separate the chaff from the grain? Any correlation to these two...

    Daniel 3:1

Is the idol in Daniel 3:1, a cross? "King Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold, whose height was sixty cubits and its breadth six cubits. He set it up on the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon." ESV
