Thanks for the clarification. I didn't look into it very much before posting that info, which was a poor choice on my part. All that I can say is that life doesn't require water, which was my main point about that statement. But it's hard to prove that in the world, with wealthy science...
I never said it's a disease or addiction. Everything in this world is something to "get over" eventually though. And you're making it appear as if someone's sexual preference makes up the entirety of their being. Whereas how I think homosexuality isn't right, but it is only a small issue to me.
I don't call myself Christian, but I would think that anyone who believes in, and is actively trying to follow Christ and his teachings, can call themselves Christian. Whether they actually know who Christ is or have a personal relationship with Christ is another story.
Well, I have never met a human being that is perfect in all ways. I know they're people and I also love them. I never said who they are is an evolutionary flaw, I said homosexuality is an evolutionary flaw of sorts. I knew some people would interpret it as hateful, and that I'd face ridicule...
Interpret how you want. It's just my thoughts on the matter, that I keep to myself most of the time. Felt like it would be okay to post it in this thread.
For me it's wrong to hate anything, as I don't hate anything. Objectively speaking, one can hate whatever they choose to hate I suppose. I do believe that homosexuality is wrong, or an evolutionary flaw of sorts. But I wouldn't restrict it or disgrace it in any way. I just see a certain path to...

It's a supermassive black hole at the center.
I'm not a Quran expert but that's an interesting quote. The Mayans knew that the sun was orbiting the Galaxy before Islam, so it would be no surprise to me if the writers of the Quran knew this as well. Still impressive if so.
Why? There's nothing in the bible that says God wants to micro-manage every aspect of your life.
The farthest that micro-managing goes is evolution of life, guided by the forces of the cosmos. I'm not sure if I would say God has an agenda, but more like a set path to a destination. "free will"...
I'm guessing you're going by the crucified in the afternoon, and raised on the 3rd morning/day. And a day for the Lord being 1,000 years thing? It would seem to be the the crack of dawn in that case, but who knows how accurate the time has been kept. Look, they're adding a second to a day this...
