The burden of proof is on the individual that is making the claim. So if, as atheists, we demand evidence of a god there is no claim being made, so we have no burdon...but the second we say, god does not exist, that is a claim and it needs to be proven.

I've always liked this quote by Dr. Victor Stenger, "science flies you to the moon, religion flies you into buildings." Not that I agree whole heartedly with the statement, but there is definelty truth to it.
Does anyone think it's possible that new testament writers just embellished the story a little bit? Ya know, perhaps they attributed these "prophesies" to Jesus after they read them from the Tanakh?
