There are others that are very apocalyptic, Joel and Zechariah to name a couple, but all of the prophets have very relevant "apocalyptic" prophecies and context. I honestly think the whole bible. particularly the OT, is really prophetic, in the stories, in the lives of people, etc. I don't know...
I have always been a bit of a loner, it is very difficult for me to go beyond a superficial level in friendships. When I was very young I had a best friend, my family moved and we began writing, but it fizzled out kind of after a couple years. So other than that, no best friends until my now...
Oh yes, I know there are quite a lot of us :) I think it's been gaining a lot of traction over the last 20 years or so, it's quite interesting how many like-minded folks we know of or run across, although there's often a fairly large range of differing beliefs on an individual level.
I never know what to call myself, I don't fit under any particular label or "denomination." I usually say sort of like Hebrew Roots just as a point of reference, but that's still not exactly correct. I believe in Jesus/Yeshua like Christians, but differ in some areas, such as believing he didn't...
Yes, but something to explain the hard data? The data doesn't lie and it's not subject to political emotions and opinions, so I'd honestly like to see the data honestly considered rather than people just saying that this is right-wing conspiracy theories.
To my knowledge, no one's actually made an attempt to disprove the information he's laid out, with the IP addresses, time stamps, packet captures, etc, etc that he has. If the evidence to address those things is out there, I'd actually like to hear about it. If it's there and clearly shows him...
I think that to look at it as strictly an either-or dichotomy is not completely correct. It is both: there has always been grace and there has always been justice, and there always will be because God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. God is merciful and therefore gives us grace, He is...
I am actually quite interested in and tend to agree with what you said. That is something I will be looking in to further. It's something I already thought, but didn't know there were studies on.
Right, I understand, and that's an important consideration. I am more in favor of decriminalization than legalizing, but in any of the three options there will be difficulties because there are so many nuances to be considered. I think regulation is a must in order to protect victimized women...
I agree with most everything you say in this post, other than the issue that when prostitution is illegal, those who are trafficked into prostitution are then considered criminals and not afforded the help and protection they need and deserve.
My family and I went to a service once where there was a charismatic-type pastor doing "baptisms of the Holy Spirit," and the atmosphere was really uncomfortable to me (he was actually calling people out to come up front and I was afraid he was going to pick me, so that was part of it :D). Now...
