Raised protestant. Became "agnostic pandeist" in high school (pre-internet). Married a lovely christian who challenged me to "really search for the lord". Challenge accepted. Within 6 months was an atheist and within a year a "devout" anti-theist.
As theists state, "hate the sin, not the sinner."... I hate the belief not the believer. I believe most theists are simply victims as I was and suffer from cognitive dissonance.
I do not accept the religious trinity, preferring instead to trust the "Secular Trinity" of Logic, Reason &/or Evidence.
I love a good Socratic discussion and happy to be your "Huckleberry" as long as it's a rational discussion.
