God, where are you?

Why did God stop talking to His children? where is the continuing revelation? why did He stop sending prophets? in this age when there is such great confusion, even among Christians, it seems we need Him more than ever.

I do not understand your dismay. Father God has not stopped speaking to His children. He has not stopped sending prophets and He has not caused the confusion. satan has. His covenant is just as valid and as powerful as it ever was. It is man who has forsaken God. It is, in my opinion, denominationalismn, which has corrupted the Body of Christ and quenched the Holy Spirit and caused Him to greive. We have become Laeodecia, and Father God will spew us out of His mouth, unless we repent.

I agree that denominationalismn is a great evil brought about by Satan, but what are we to do to counter that? It will not stop until we come in unity of faith and Ephesians 4:11-13 says we need prophets and apostle to obtain that unity, common sense says we need them to obtain unity. On our own reading the bible contradictions will always exist because no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation but was given as holy men of old spoke as they were moved by the holy spirit. the only way to correctly understand their words is by the same spirit.

God is not the author of confussion, that is why you cannot read the bible withought reading of God having an inspired leader to guide his people, there is not one time in the bible where the people were left on their own to figure out past writings, this is why Paul wrote letters to churches, they had accepted Christ but they still needed direction. This is why John wrote to the seven churches to admonish some for goodness, but to reprove others that had started going astray. We are not like Laeodecia however, God was upset with Laeodecia because they were neither hot nor cold, they were neither good nor bad but just going along. We are full of people who are very hot and very cold, there is much evil on the earth there is also much good, why is God not speaking to those who are good and honestly seeking Him?

Corban. Rest assured, Father God is speaking to the men and women who follow and love Him without doubting. Nothing has changed there.

See below:

Here is part of what the Westminster Confession says about revelation and the Scripture, and its Biblical sources as to the last sentence, which is critical to your questions (Chapter I, 1):

Although the light of nature, and the works of creation and providence do so far manifest the goodness, wisdom, and power of God, as to leave men unexcusable; yet are they not sufficient to give that knowledge of God, and of his will, which is necessary unto salvation. Therefore it pleased the Lord, at sundry times, and in divers manners, to reveal himself, and to declare that his will unto his Church; and afterwards, for the better preserving and propagating of the truth, and for the more sure establishment and comfort of the church against the corruption of the flesh, and the malice of Satan and of the world, to commit the same wholly unto writing: which maketh the holy scripture to be most necessary; those former ways of God's revealing his will unto his people being now ceased [6].

[6] HEB 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.

The Confession goes on to say that illumination of the Holy Spirit continues to guide our understanding of the Scripture after the age of direct revelation ended:

V. We may be moved and induced by the testimony of the Church to an high and reverent esteem of the Holy Scripture.[10] And the heavenliness of the matter, the efficacy of the doctrine, the majesty of the style, the consent of all the parts, the scope of the whole (which is, to give all glory to God), the full discovery it makes of the only way of man's salvation, the many other incomparable excellencies, and the entire perfection thereof, are arguments whereby it does abundantly evidence itself to be the Word of God: yet notwithstanding, our full persuasion and assurance of the infallible truth and divine authority thereof, is from the inward work of the Holy Spirit bearing witness by and with the Word in our hearts.[11]

Scripture for Note 11:

11] 1JO 2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. 27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. JOH 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. 1CO 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. ISA 59:21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.

God is always with us. God is always present. In the Old Testament, the Father God led the Israelites through pillars of cloud during the day and fire by night. Then, in the New Testament, Jesus was present with the people. After Jesus left to go to Heaven, the Holy Spirit was sent to be with us.

The Holy Spirit is with us, all the time! Talk to Him, let Him teach you, guide you, comfort you and lead you.

The Holy Spirit is not power, or atmosphere, or .... He is the thrid person of the Trinity God.

Commune with Him.

Happy having a great time with the Holy Spirit

God is always with you. Consider this:

The Universal Father is the secret of the reality of personality, the bestowal of personality, and the destiny of personality. The Eternal Son is the absolute personality, the secret of spiritual energy, morontia spirits, and perfected spirits. The Infinite Spirit is the spirit-mind personality, the source of intelligence, reason, and the universal mind. But the Isle of Paradise is nonpersonal and extraspiritual, being the essence of the universal body, the source and center of physical matter, and the absolute master pattern of universal material reality.

These qualities of universal reality are manifest in Urantian human experience on the following levels:

1. Body. The material or physical organism of man. The living electrochemical mechanism of animal nature and origin.

2. Mind. The thinking, perceiving, and feeling mechanism of the human organism. The total conscious and unconscious experience. The intelligence associated with the emotional life reaching upward through worship and wisdom to the spirit level.

3. Spirit. The divine spirit that indwells the mind of man--the Thought Adjuster. This immortal spirit is prepersonal--not a personality, though destined to become a part of the personality of the surviving mortal creature.

4. Soul. The soul of man is an experiential acquirement. As a mortal creature chooses to "do the will of the Father in heaven," so the indwelling spirit becomes the father of a new reality in human experience. The mortal and material mind is the mother of this same emerging reality. The substance of this new reality is neither material nor spiritual--it is morontial (semi-spirit). This is the emerging and immortal soul which is destined to survive mortal death and begin the Paradise ascension.

Personality. The personality of mortal man is neither body, mind, nor spirit; neither is it the soul. Personality is the one changeless reality in an otherwise ever-changing creature experience; and it unifies all other associated factors of individuality. The personality is the unique bestowal which the Universal Father makes upon the living and associated energies of matter, mind, and spirit, and which survives with the survival of the morontial soul.

Morontia is a term designating a vast level intervening between the material and the spiritual.

[from The Urantia Book]

P.S. The Father lives in your MIND. Any MORAL decision on your part is ALWAYS at his urging.

Enjoy

God never stopped doing anything. It is humans who stopped; we rejected spirituality in favor of religion, allowing ourselves to be controlled by human-animals who were using religion as a means of pursuing their own ambitions. We stopped actively seeking God and instead relied on the seeking of others for spiritual wellbeing. We abandoned reason, further falling into the lies of the religious authorities. The prophets are true Humans; they keep coming, but they are recognized by very few and scorned by many. It is not until their pure spirituality philosophy gets chewed up and spit out by ever increasing numbers of human-animals that they are heard, but by then it is too late: these people do not seek personal revelation, but the revelation of others. They do not use their own reason, and so their reason betrays them. They twist these once pure philosophies to fit their personal ambitions until they bear only a faint resemblance to the original spiritual philosophy. They turn Spirituality into Religion and use it as a tool to control the ignorant masses, to explain away their wrongs, and to give themselves the illusion of atonement.

Jakob Lorber wrote 12500 pages approx. for the Lord during 25 years.
Bertha Dudde wrote 9030 messages for the Lord.
Why is it taking such a long period of time before normal people hear about this?

well seeing as you have the Angel Moroni as your Avatar, i would say you already know the answers to your questions, or were you asking in order to get other people to think?

The salvation plan is not only for us but the whole universe.
And our universe is only a cell in the great body of Lucifer.
Kurt Eggenstein wrote a book about the revelation that Jesus
gave to Jakob Lorber. (Online to read)

On the level of the plan of salvation I would say you are correct to an extent, but christ can not be born again because he is ressurected, his purpose was for this earth only.

I do however believe that tehre are many other planets in different stages of evolution or organization (creation) in which a similar plan-type is in preparation or progress.

Or read the book of Mormon....like these words

2Nephi 29
[1] But behold, there shall be many -- at that day when I shall proceed to do a marvelous work among them, that I may remember my covenants which I have made unto the children of men, that I may set my hand again the second time to recover my people, which are of the house of Israel;

[2] And also, that I may remember the promises which I have made unto thee, Nephi, and also unto thy father, that I would remember your seed; and that the words of your seed should proceed forth out of my mouth unto your seed; and my words shall hiss forth unto the ends of the earth, for a standard unto my people, which are of the house of Israel;

[3] And because my words shall hiss forth -- many of the Gentiles shall say: A Bible! A Bible! We have got a Bible, and there cannot be any more Bible.

[4] But thus saith the Lord God: O fools, they shall have a Bible; and it shall proceed forth from the Jews, mine ancient covenant people. And what thank they the Jews for the Bible which they receive from them? Yea, what do the Gentiles mean? Do they remember the travails, and the labors, and the pains of the Jews, and their diligence unto me, in bringing forth salvation unto the Gentiles?

[5] O ye Gentiles, have ye remembered the Jews, mine ancient covenant people? Nay; but ye have cursed them, and have hated them, and have not sought to recover them. But behold, I will return all these things upon your own heads; for I the Lord have not forgotten my people.

[6] Thou fool, that shall say: A Bible, we have got a Bible, and we need no more Bible. Have ye obtained a Bible save it were by the Jews?

[7] Know ye not that there are more nations than one? Know ye not that I, the Lord your God, have created all men, and that I remember those who are upon the isles of the sea; and that I rule in the heavens above and in the earth beneath; and I bring forth my word unto the children of men, yea, even upon all the nations of the earth?

[8] Wherefore murmur ye, because that ye shall receive more of my word? Know ye not that the testimony of two nations is a witness unto you that I am God, that I remember one nation like unto another? Wherefore, I speak the same words unto one nation like unto another. And when the two nations shall run together the testimony of the two nations shall run together also.

[9] And I do this that I may prove unto many that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever; and that I speak forth my words according to mine own pleasure. And because that I have spoken one word ye need not suppose that I cannot speak another; for my work is not yet finished; neither shall it be until the end of man, neither from that time henceforth and forever.

[10] Wherefore, because that ye have a Bible ye need not suppose that it contains all my words; neither need ye suppose that I have not caused more to be written.

[11] For I command all men, both in the east and in the west, and in the north, and in the south, and in the islands of the sea, that they shall write the words which I speak unto them; for out of the books which shall be written I will judge the world, every man according to their works, according to that which is written.

[12] For behold, I shall speak unto the Jews and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto the Nephites and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto the other tribes of the house of Israel, which I have led away, and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto all nations of the earth and they shall write it.

[13] And it shall come to pass that the Jews shall have the words of the Nephites, and the Nephites shall have the words of the Jews; and the Nephites and the Jews shall have the words of the lost tribes of Israel; and the lost tribes of Israel shall have the words of the Nephites and the Jews.

[14] And it shall come to pass that my people, which are of the house of Israel, shall be gathered home unto the lands of their possessions; and my word also shall be gathered in one. And I will show unto them that fight against my word and against my people, who are of the house of Israel, that I am God, and that I covenanted with Abraham that I would remember his seed forever.

2 Nephi 30
[1] And now behold, my beloved brethren, I would speak unto you; for I, Nephi, would not suffer that ye should suppose that ye are more righteous than the Gentiles shall be. For behold, except ye shall keep the commandments of God ye shall all likewise perish; and because of the words which have been spoken ye need not suppose that the Gentiles are utterly destroyed.

[2] For behold, I say unto you that as many of the Gentiles as will repent are the covenant people of the Lord; and as many of the Jews as will not repent shall be cast off; for the Lord covenanteth with none save it be with them that repent and believe in his Son, who is the Holy One of Israel.

[3] And now, I would prophesy somewhat more concerning the Jews and the Gentiles. For after the book of which I have spoken shall come forth, and be written unto the Gentiles, and sealed up again unto the Lord, there shall be many which shall believe the words which are written; and they shall carry them forth unto the remnant of our seed.

[4] And then shall the remnant of our seed know concerning us, how that we came out from Jerusalem, and that they are descendants of the Jews.

[5] And the gospel of Jesus Christ shall be declared among them; wherefore, they shall be restored unto the knowledge of their fathers, and also to the knowledge of Jesus Christ, which was had among their fathers.

[6] And then shall they rejoice; for they shall know that it is a blessing unto them from the hand of God; and their scales of darkness shall begin to fall from their eyes; and many generations shall not pass away among them, save they shall be a pure and delightsome people.

[7] And it shall come to pass that the Jews which are scattered also shall begin to believe in Christ; and they shall begin to gather in upon the face of the land; and as many as shall believe in Christ shall also become a delightsome people.

[8] And it shall come to pass that the Lord God shall commence his work among all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people, to bring about the restoration of his people upon the earth.

[9] And with righteousness shall the Lord God judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth. And he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

[10] For the time speedily cometh that the Lord God shall cause a great division among the people, and the wicked will he destroy; and he will spare his people, yea, even if it so be that he must destroy the wicked by fire.

[11] And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

[12] And then shall the wolf dwell with the lamb; and the leopard shall lie down with the kid, and the calf, and the young lion, and the fatling, together; and a little child shall lead them.

[13] And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

[14] And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice's den.

[15] They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.

[16] Wherefore, the things of all nations shall be made known; yea, all things shall be made known unto the children of men.

[17] There is nothing which is secret save it shall be revealed; there is no work of darkness save it shall be made manifest in the light; and there is nothing which is sealed upon the earth save it shall be loosed.

[18] Wherefore, all things which have been revealed unto the children of men shall at that day be revealed; and Satan shall have power over the hearts of the children of men no more, for a long time. And now, my beloved brethren, I make an end of my sayings.

Want God to speak to you personally? Hw will!
Here read this and believe it:
Deu 30:14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, thRom 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
at thou mayest do it.

Speak it, say it with your mouth and God will talk to you in your heart.

Perhaps that's the whole point; and why a belief in a Religion is called a "faith".....?

God won't come to talk to you, specially; ypou need to make the approach, and listen out for him, or look at his wonders and miracles that surround us daily.

As others have said, it is us who have left God for our pressing material matters - it is we who make no time for God. He is here, believe me.

Actually, I understand where you're coming from. David often cried out to God in his psalms with a similar sentiment. Understand that when God feels distant, it is because we are distant, not the other way around. God is constant, devoted, and always loving.

He is also a personal God, so even if you don't see him moving, know that he is moving in your heart and in the hearts of others. We don't have to be responsible for the world, no man is that big. We're supposed to love those that God brings to us.

nicely put tomspug.

alot of religions separate themselves from god and make it impersonal. they act as if it is impossible to communicate with him and feel his love.
