I can't believe I haven't found this thread before. : ) Jasmine tea for me, please! (I'm baking muffins in real life right now; it's nicely appropriate.)

I was really confused last week because I got my period exactly a week before I go on my inactive pills. But I looked it up on some medical sites and they say it's not that unusual, so that was a relief. It does mean that I have no idea where I am in my hormone cycle right now. I'm on the inactive pills, which is usually when I have my period, and I feel the way I normally do when I'm on my period, mood-wise, but I've already had it. It's throwing me off kilter a little, but it's not that bad.

Whatever's going on with the hormones, it's making me want lots and lots of sex, right when my boyfriend is really busy with stupid grad school work. Grrrr! I also want to play-fight. Whenever I'm on my period I start thinking about how cool it would be to just tussle and wrestle with people, like Fight Club without the injuries. (I try to not watch Fight Club during that time of month, it just makes me want to playfully attack the people next to me...) So I think I have period-hormones without the blood, or something.

Lunamoth, hope everything is going well! My mom had the same problem and was able to get it fixed with very little risk, so hopefully yours will turn out to not be too much trouble.

Melissa, I'm so sorry that you're having a rough year. It can really seem that way sometimes, eh? :hugehug:

*offers cappuccino*

I haven't told you this, but your picture in your signature has you with hair that's about as long as mine. My hair is literally down to by backside now, and my problems with my hair nowadays is making sure I don't sit on it, LOL.

Hola, Inky!! *sets cup of jasmine tea on table* Don't worry about not being able to find the thread. I haven't kept it up for quite a while now.

BTW, in case anybody is wondering........there's an assortment of pies, cakes, biscuits, etc. available to everyone. Just take what you like!

Big hugs for your hormonal issues, Inky. This is an issue where it's better for me to just listen, because if I start talking, I'll talk your ear off on this one, LOL. :hugehug:

Peace,

Thanks, maybe it's just the way it goes, sometimes things are good, sometimes are not so good. I often think, really, I can't expect my affairs to be trouble free all of the time, we all knw life isn't like that.

Ohhh, thanks, I'd love a cappuccino, with a chocolate muffin, and don't be mad, but I like a cigarrette with my coffee :) Me have alot of bad habits ;)

Wow, I really like my hair long, although it's been shorter before, and darker. I think I prefer it longer. Sit on it lol, very true !

Well...I like cappuccino's, chocky muff-muffs and a ciggie with my latte too! Can I be one of the girls? :flirt: Pretty please, with pink cherries on top?

No one is denied, Conor. Anyone who wants to chat with a drink and a snack is more than welcome regardless whether you have a Y chromosome or not. :hugehug:

You are welcome to smoke unless someone else complains. I have a husband who smokes, so it's fine with me. :)

Oh, and I know about the hair. Right now it's down and flowing in such a pretty way. It looks beautiful, but it can be such a pain when I'm getting a jacket on, or I'm sitting down, or a purse strap is resting on it.............it's like I don't even know where my hair really is until I realize I can't move my head, and then I realize it's because I'm sitting on it.

*sets plate of chocolate muffins down on the table*

These muffins have chocolate chips in them, too, so it's double the pleasure..........:flirt:

I don't smoke, but I oddly like secondhand smoke. Don't know why, but I've always liked it. So, go ahead. : )

My brain has calmed down a little, which is nice...smooth sailing from here, I think.

Women who pose with a glass of beer in their hand next to a fine car pretty much tug at all known male heartstrings.

Now sit down, have some coffee, and remember which thread you're visiting.

lol ^ (you tell 'em Heather!)

Well girls,
I left the house feeling physically secure in myself today.
I got two awesome capes, one black, one purple ($17 each!)
I re-dyed my bangs purple,
donned my georgous new heart studded amulet (also purples)...

But MOST OF ALL...
I am lighter. I am smaller!
My pants are looser...
I am looking better!
More like myself again,
the true physical me....
who I once was...
before life made me heavy...
and overburdened me...
weighed me down.

I am feeling light again.
Inside and out...
and the lightness is lifting me high...
and making me shine!

I brought some cheese cake with fresh strawberries. Is that coffee or tea I smell brewing? You all don't know just how nice I can be when I let my feminine side out.

Huzzah! That's wonderful news! I haven't dyed my hair in forever and a day, so I live vicariously through others that do. lol

There's nothing sexier than a woman who is brimming with self-confidence.

Mmmmmmm............cheesecake. Thank you! You just made a fan out of me, RR. :flirt:

You are welcome to any tea or coffee you like, dearest. Have a seat and stay for a while. *sets plate and teacup in front of the Reverend, theNEWreality, and Phil if he behaves*

I do that by drinking a six pack and watching football.

Hello Mystic and everyone hanging out at the girl-clatch. I actually consider myself part-girl and part not so much, but I see all are welcome here. Do you have a latte by chance? Or what is the coffiest thing you have to offer?

Lately I've been getting into frugality as a hobby. Anyone into that? It's kind of fun and creative, actually.

Also gardening. Anyone enjoy that? Even composting. In fact I think I'm going to pick a load of free manure tomorrow!

O.K., what hobbies or creative endeavors does everyone here enjoy. (apologies if this was asked, I skipped like 38 pages of the thread.)

How about a double shot latte? :coffee2:

Hey, arts and crafts are pretty much a regular thing at my house. I knit, crochet, and every now and then I'll uncover the sewing machine to make a dress or two for me and my daughter. My daughter loves to paint and sculpt, and we both have just started venturing into bead crafts (which is where I might ask Buttercup for help in the future).

Gardening is something I like to do, but I'm not nearly as knowledgable as our own Mother Hen Booko. If she peeks her head in here, I suggest that pretty much every question about gardening be defered to her. :)

Oh, and 38 pages of stuff is kind of like over a year's worth of material, so don't worry about missing anything. Heck, I probably wouldn't even mind dishing about the same thing from last week let alone last year. :D

I read alot, listen to dance music alot. Play on the internet, exactly :) And I enjoy exercising, quite alot. I mostly loathe TV, I have no idea why so much trash is shown, but alot of people seem to enjoy being brain dead, and tune in. Probably I mentioned it before, I love stimulating conversations, in any Italian cafe. What else, oh yes, I like laying in the bath, music playing, and smoking, I try to keep it dry :)

*quietly swallows incipient belch* Yes, Mam! Coffee you say? Why I do believe I'd enjoy some!

Thank you, love. I am glad you stopped by. *points to cup of java sitting in front of Uncle Sunstone*

Now about this hair business..........how long is too long? I'm not ready to cut my hair yet. I still absolutely love it when it's flowing and beautiful. The only thing is the maintenance - I laugh whenever I see the directions for shampoo and conditioner (quarter size dollop to cover hair? LOL YEAH RIGHT! More like 1/2 a cup!)

I have done counted cross stitch for years, mostly at meetings and trainings. Helps me sit down and shut up. Love digital photography and wish I could stop working and do that all day. Love to read, completely addicted reader since I learned how. And this internet problem. Love to cook and consider myself good at it. It's that "The older I get, the better I cook" thing. And now I'm getting obsessed with gardening. So basically my big problem is that I do have to work for a living. Oh, and am a single mom. Well, better too much life than too little, is my position.

We tried making soap and that is really fun. GF and I like to undertake odd projects like that together. Wish I had more time to do that. Will be trying candles this weekend with her and the girls and then we can all give them as xmas presents. (Don't tell anyone.) That's the frugal thing. Like last year we made bath salts and put them in jars we'd been buying at garage sales for months and gave those. I think people really liked them. Super easy.

Anyone else like garage sales and thrift shops?

Thanks for the tip. Never tried this whole manure thing. GF has truck, found manure free on Craig's list. Plan to use it to sheet compost a new bed tomorrow. Wouldn't it be nice if I knew what I was doing?

Gardens, are good for laying around in the sun, when it's summer, having said that, we had an awful summer here. I think I'll pass on the compost and gardening tips lol. Now who likes the beach :)
