Messages and Teachings of Mary, Revealed to Six Vissionaries in Medjugorje, Bosnia, 1981 - Present

When has a Prophet EVERY received a message from Mary? Never. They receive them from a very specific Source. Think on it a bit.

Edit: I have never said there isn't good in all religions, check out my signature and you should know that I know there is good in all religions.
Jesus Christ directs his church, "the body of Christ," as a whole, by using whomever he chooses, whether that's his earthly mother, now an angel/resurrected exalted being in heaven, or Moroni, or Gabriel (who is Noah) or John the Baptist or Peter, James and John.

You get the idea.

God uses whomever he chooses to get his messages/gospel to the people.

WE HAVE THE MOST TRUTH, of this I know beyond a shadow of a doubt, but I will not discount any revelation from Chirst, coming from one of his servants, whether that be Mary or Moroni or someone from another faith. All are equally important in the sight of the LORD....

I have had "great swelling motions" in my heart, that have "filled my heart," (just as is described in Alma 32), concerning these visions/messages from these visionaries...

My soul/heart/mind began to be "filled" with something not of this world....

It has brought me peace, beyond what I had expected to have in this life...

I could lose all I have, which I pretty much have, and still have this peace and hope in my heart.

I am assureed salvation in the highest kingdom of heaven, because of my marriage to my wife in an LDS temple, but that doesn't mean I don't get tempted and fall into sin.

I need to hear and read stuff like this, from a valid source, in order to build my faith.

Come wherever it may...

From a valid source? The prophet is not a valid source to receive constant revelations from? Wow. The Ensign is like a revelation (non-doctrinal) that is a valid source -- and you get that every month.
Of course President Hinckley is a valid source, all I'm saying is there are others in which we can rely on as valid sources of revelation, not specific to any religion, just basic revelations as to what we need to do, like repent, pray, convert our hearts, etc..

You're totally reading me wrong, as usual.

You're reading what isn't there, only what you want to see.

I totally 100 percent support our church leaders and the direction they give to our church.

I accept revelation wherever it may come...

I am already saved in the Celestial kingdom, as far as the Doctrine and Covenants states, concerning temple marriage, but it also states that those who enter into this covenant will be "buffeted by Satan," if they don't live up to their covenants, which I have definitely felt in my life (the "buffetings of Satan"), and I need something extra to give me a boost now and then...

Messages from other good Christian organizations serve to compliment the messages given in our church, conference, scriptures, ensign, etc., that's all I'm saying and trying to gain from these messages of faith, love, hope and inspiration.

Imagine, the mother of the Son of God speaking to us, it warms my heart...;) ;) I need a positive female figure in my life, all the ones I've known have been very critical of me...

Jesus said in scripture, he "upbraideth not," meaning he does not criticize us, and we can assume Mary, being exalted, would not criticize us either.

It's a lot better than reading non-Christian materials, which break down one's faith very quickly.

Becky, do you not read teachings and "supposed" revelations of other faiths, not necesarily Christian ????

I know you do, because you've discussed what you've read/are reading here on this forum, so before you go casting stones, look at yourself first...

Also, don't read into what I write, what's not there...I'll tell you if I think our church leaders are misled, which obviously they are not...

WE HAVE THE MOST TRUTH, but that doesn't mean others have NO truth, BUT ON THE CONTRARY, THEY HAVE MUCH TRUTH which can be shared with the "body of Chirst/beleivers".

Speak for yourself, I accept everything he says, 100 percent. He cannot mislead us, it's impossible and Christ, who is the head of the LDS church, would never allow it, Predident Hinckley being the mouthpiece on earth for Christ...

Just thought it was cool that we can also hear from Mary and what she has to say..

We need a woman's perspective to balance things out...hehe...;) Is that such a bad thing, NO...she's only echoing her Son's words in her messages given to these visionaries..

You don't confine yourself to just reading the Ensign, and niether do I, we are no different...

You like Buddhist materials, I like Catholic apparitionist's messages from Mary...

We have our individual likes and dislikes outside the framework of the LDS church, which we are allowed and encouraged to explore.

We are not chained/bound to only studying church materials, but are free to explore what's out there in the world, and I know you would agree and encourage that as well, otherwise you would not be posting here on this forum, trying to expand your knowledge and understanding of various religions..

I will if you want, but I don't mind if you push me to my limits...;) , you're a good debator, it helps us to get things out in the open on both sides...

It has helped us both better understand each other on these issues..

I'm sure I confuse many with my posts, as to which religion I claim.

I claim Jesus Christ and his fully restored gospel, as given to our Prophets and Apostles of the LDS church, but I also enjoy listening to the positive messages of other strong/good Christian faiths and believers in Christ..

It's a good thing..

Somebody literally recorded their telivision set playing their recording of this 20/20 ABC news special which aired in the late 80's, the visions starting in 1981.

The whole report is broken up into 10 minute segments, haven't seen this yet, but I noticed there were at least 11 of these segments..

Got time so I'll listen to it now.

Just click on this link and it will lead you to the next and so forth...

I didn't see anything that offended me, just deleted one sentence and didn't really see a need to do that....

If I delete your question, then my response will not make sense and not sure if I want to delete my responses yet, so that others can see my position, as far as my faith in the LDS church goes and my thoughts concerning this issue...

Don't worry about it no one is mad and if a mod thinks it's rude I'll just state here that I was not offended, but rather challenged..

It's all good, don't worry...

We have given each other a hard time on this forum, my bad too..

I don't discuss my personal life, because it's not all roses, so I need all the inspiration I can get from things like this, to help me stay positive and I like the variety I get from exploring other Christian religions, it makes me a more well rounded person, rather than just an LDS member, who's ignorant of all the good (and bad) that's going in the world...

I lived a very very very sheltered life growing up and It drove me completely wacko...

I can't stand being confined to one place or one religious thought from one religion, I need to hear all that is out there that is good.

Just adding to my faith in the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, not rejecting it for another...

Just adding to the good/knowledge I already possess.

We as LDS are so blessed to know what we know and why would we not want to expand upon that, by searching out all the good in other religions...

THere is soooo much good out there to be read and seen...

I've been to Lourdes, France and have felt the sprit there very strongly.. Lourdes, France is another well known place of these Mary miracles and apparitions...

While we were in Lourdes we did not know of these Mary miracles and apparitions or we would have possibly checked it out, my wife being a former Catholic..

I have absolutely no doubts about the LDS faith and never have. It's just not in my spirit to doubt it in any way, because I was born with a testimony of the church, no one gave it to me and didn't pray about it, I already knew as soon as I was conscious of it (the restored gospel of Jesus Christ) at a very very young age..

Lourdes, France

My last name is French and so is my wife's (her mother spoke French fluently) so we both of course really love France. It's a very peaceful place and the spirit is there for sure...

It's very very clean and orderly over there, with beautiful scenery and rolling hills and fields of grape vines as far as you can see..... grapes the size of apricots..

People cannot even seem to follow the teachings laid out by Jesus over 2,000 years ago. Why would His mother have to come down and add extra layers to the teachings of the Anointed? Wouldn't God realize that most of us are not grasping the very basic concepts brought forth in the Bibe, such as, say, "Love thy neighbor as thyself?"

Mary only gives one message a month, usually only about 5 sentences long.

Just a cool thing to know we have a connection with heeven...

Our Lady of Guadalupe
Mexico, 1531

Words of the Blessed Virgin spoken to Juan Diego
December 9th and 12th 1531
Guadalupe, Mexico

"Know for certain that I am the perfect and perpetual Virgin Mary, Mother of the True God . . . here I will show and offer all my love, my compassion, my help and protection to the people. I am your merciful Mother, the Mother of all who love me, of those who cry to me, of those who have confidence in me. Here I will hear their weeping and their sorrows . . . their necessities and misfortunes . . . Listen and let it penetrate your heart . . . Do not be troubled or weighed down with grief. Do not fear any illness or vexation, anxiety or pain. Am I not here who am your Mother? Are you not under my shadow and protection? Am I not your fountain of life? Are you not in the folds of my mantle? In the crossing of my arms? Is there anything else you need?"

very good point. frubals.

Do you not read the scriptures and see that it says there will be "many false prophets?"

Why would Satan, the deciever and father of all lies, come out and bluntly say that the gospel is false.

Who is the best liar in all the world? someone who ALWAYS tells the truth.

Satan tells many many truths, all so that once he has your ear he can say anything and you will believe it.

I plead again with you to talk about it with your bishop, with a church leader of any kind. these things are not true revelations from the Lord.

The "mother mary" does not answer "prayers" you should know this FFH.

you have done alot of research and are into bible codes and other things of the nature that and that is commendable efforts. while there is alot of truth in them, that is exactly why you have to be careful.

There is no evil in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There are evil people in it that i am sure of, but those people, are not our leaders or our prophets, and you know this just as well as i do. there is no evil doctrine in our church whatsoever.
You know for a fact that is true just as well as i do.

Know for certain that I am the perfect and perpetual Virgin Mary, Mother of the True God....

Do you even read this?
SHE IS NOT THE MOTHER OF GOD.

she is the mother of Christ in the Flesh.

She is a Daughter of God just like every woman here.

She is Christ's Sister, just liek she is everyone's SISTER.

Do you even think about what is said?
