Its not euthanasia, its suicide.

Psychiatrists are just (big pharma approved) drug dealers, that's all. You're lucky to get 5 minutes with them. I didn't start to really recover from my mental health issues until I got off the psych drugs and started using something else. I have a great therapist now, too. (Therapists can be hit or miss.)

I've been dealing with mental healthcare for at least 20 years now, since I was a teen. It's such a joke. I have a bone injury from these pill pushers giving me psych meds that caused grand mal seizures, which made me fall on my shoulder, and it took them 2 years to realize what was causing it. They don't really know how things like antidepressants work, either. I've had multiple doctors over the years admit that to me. (As they prescribed me more of them, of course.)
I agree. Medication is way over pushed and they don’t have it figured out as much as they claim to. It makes me even more iffy to let them decide “it’s hopeless for you, maybe suicide is the answer for you” to physically healthy 28 year olds especially

That's fair , but remember what's deemed academically right today can be also deemed wrong tomorrow.
Quite right.

I tell people, mostly younger, that if you want to know the truth of something, evaluate the evidence against it as it only takes a single pieces of evidence to prove something wrong, but thousands or millions of pieces to prove it right.

As far as academics, or more importantly, experts, of course they can be wrong, the important thing is that they get closer to the truth as time goes on.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.

She's not the first person they've cleared for euthanasia physically healthy and in her twenties, either.

It disturbs me that people are on board with these. I wonder how many souls could’ve been saved. This isn’t like abortion, we’re not losing a fetus that was unborn. This is literally destroying a life that already exists.

Nobody did that.

If this happened, then the doctors would be charged with murder.
You might want to read up on euthanasia laws in the country in question.

It is shocking the conditions now accepted for euthanasia and suicide.
You don't even know what these conditions were exactly nor to what extent.

Your entire opinion is based on a single sentence with 3 vague terms. You seem to think this can accurately reflect YEARS of treatment and a medical file of hundreds of pages thick. And somehow you think you can then offer some kind of qualified opinion on the matter.

I did exaggerate, but that's essentially what they're saying by assisting in her suicide. She is telling them she wants to commit suicide, and they are agreeing to it.
Which isn't relevant, as said many times already.
Euthanasia laws don't require the patient to be "terminal".
It would be good to know what their criteria is here, and how exactly they passed her for euthanasia.

Do people realize that they can say no to a med that a doctor is offering?

I do all the time.

Or even just take it for a few weeks and stop if it's not working or has side effects one does not like.

So what? It's still this person's choice to do so.
