I don't know much about him either, but I know enough to know he may not really be a suitable role model for anyone, and that's the point. He's damaged goods and making others more broken than him. It's good story to see such stories where evil is thoroughly punished, but in the real world it has entirely necessary to make laws to prevent law enforcement from doing what he does.
Captain America is a far better role model for them and his shield definitely better than Punisher's skull. Steve even has a legit mid-20 century America thing going on.

Given there quite a few issues where the Punisher quite literally goes up to a bunch of police who have painted his logo onto their equipment and loudly berates them for stopping to his level. Even smashing up their equipment.
He basically begs them to be a positive force instead.

Yeah. It's probably unfortunate they are stereotyped as juvenile because at this point people being exposed to the ideas amd topics in many of those comics just can't d9 amy harm if people read them. Honestly, if these came out today the Right would probably push very hard to cancel them. They are Left, they are Woke amd diverse before it was mainstream and they aren't always flattering in their portrayals of so-called heroes. Amd to top it off their Civil War included the issue of social responsibility.

I can’t help but think if the Justice League and Justice League Ultimate series (from the early to mid 2000s) were released today they’d be called “woke.”
Because they used characters that weren’t always the most mainstream. Simply because that’s how these kind of properties always work. The creative team have their own favourites, which might not always be household names. But are able to convince the showrunner of their story potential.
Like my first introduction to Green Lantern actually was John Stewart thanks to those shows.

I don't disagree. But you have to acknowledge that there is a serious problem.

Your country has never enforced these laws in a consistent and fair way. Your have allowed your economy to become dependent on illegal immigration. Take that away and your economy will collapse.

You need these people. If you want to stop illegal immigration you need to greatly increase legal immigration. It is 2023, you can do that.
