Elon Musk, a genius? Really?

The discussion you joined is about Musk having an
advantage of being staked $28k,
Nope. Just that his family are wealthy. You claimed they weren't. You were wrong.

Why is it so important to you to believe that Musk
came from wealth.
Because it's true. I generally prefer to believe things that are true - such as Elon Musk's family being wealthy. Conversely, I find it advantageous to not believe things that are false - such as what you said about his family not being wealthy.

Do you wan to believe that his
fortune was handed to him?
I've repeatedly said that being born into a wealthy family doesn't mean he was handed his fortune.

It's just a fact that his family are wealthy.

Now, answer my question. Why is it so difficult for you to admit this fact? Why do you try to deny it?

This is quite repetitive.
I don't know if Musk's family was wealthy or not.
But there's no evidence they gave him wealth.

Perhaps you're espousing the Obama philosophy,
ie, that people are only wealthy because someone
else handed it to them?

Sure, except for the startup money for his business which - for the sake of argument - we will agree is not necessarily a fortune.

Nope. There are people who obtain wealth despite humble beginnings. Elon Musk just isn't one of them. His is not a story of going from rags to riches, but of going from wealth to extraordinary mind-boggling wealth. That's all.

  • Twitter's press email is now responding to requests from the media with a single poop emoji.
  • Elon Musk announced the new policy in a tweet Sunday morning, and Insider promptly tested it.
  • Twitter's communications team was among the first groups decimated by rounds of layoffs after Musk took over.

Musk's Twitter ownership has largely been defined by the layoffs and other cost-cutting measures, and the company is currently the subject of several lawsuits over the way the cuts were conducted, in addition to lawsuits over allegedly unpaid bills from consulting firms and landlords of Twitter's offices.

It's unclear if the change to Twitter's press email is permanent. In response to Insider's request to comment, Twitter said .

Hilarious.

So now Musk is taking swipes at Bill Gates.

Gates published a seven-page essay on his website a week ago about why A.I. is so revolutionary, covering topics such as how the technology will transform healthcare and education, as well as highlighting some risks and pitfalls creators and the public need to be aware of.

It seems Musk—who recently held the title of richest person on Earth, once held by Gates– was unimpressed. Responding to a tweet about Gates's 3,639-word long essay titled "The age of A.I. has begun", Musk wrote: "I remember the early meetings with Gates. His understanding of A.I. was limited. Still is."
