It was on fire when I laid down on it.
Oh let's post some terrible videos! I'll start!

Here's another great song but TERRIBLE video - oh and I found out that everyone got sick while filming this video. It was apparently cold as well as wet. Oh but the lead singer didn't get sick - and he also didn't get cold, though it looks like he did a tiny bit of dancing or walking or whatever in the rain. Oh well.

Ok that's bad but maybe my eyes were influenced by my ears.

This is my favourite terrible video. The creepy dude with the pony tail in the background is scary. It is educational I guess, it explains why they usually make drummers sit down.

Hmmm... I think it's a great clip, makes me laugh everytime, maybe you have to be Aussie to understand the humour.
I agree. I like it too. The first cassette tapes I ever bought were Men at Work, Business As Usual and Led Zeppelin, Four.

We need a thread for people to list the first album they bought and the first concert they went to. I'd do it but I'm laying on the bed using my phone and it's too much like hard work and no one would probably know mine anyway, both are Australian bands from the early 70s

My first concert was the Oak Ridge Boys in Kansas City in 1980.

My first concert was the Oak Ridge Boys in Kansas City in 1980.

First album was Daddy Who Daddy Cool by Daddy Cool And the first concert was Skyhooks. Well there were 4 bands Finch, Mother Goose, Ol' 55 and Skyhooks. I was a 14 year from a small country town and had strict parents, the singer of Mother Goose was running around the crowd and I almost got decapitated by the mic lead and the guitarist was wearing a nappy, Ol 55 were simulating sex with a saxophone and Skyhooks had a giant penis on stage that shot out confetti when tickled.

Your descriptions have me rolling around laughing.

I was 14 from a small country town in Kansas City for the first time. I was with a group at a place called Worlds of Fun. A theme park. The Oak Ridge Boys were playing that afternoon and we all had good seats for the show. A country group with Gospel roots if you are not familiar with them. No simulated anything or giant phallic symbols.

The best concert I ever attended so far was about 6 years ago at a medium-sized club called The Pageant here in St. Louis. We were right on top of the stage. I saw Exodus, System of a Down and Slayer for the first time. The crowd was the most relaxed, behaved and friendly I have ever experienced. That probably says a lot for the venue too.

I had only been out of the hospital for a slipped disk for maybe a month or so and was going through physical therapy during that time. About two songs into the first set, the lead singer of Exodus says, "Let's get that pit a going". Suddenly, I'm like 40 feet from where I had been standing in the middle of a bunch of guys throwing themselves at each other. I was in a mosh pit for the first time. It was awesome!

The next day I had therapy and was telling my physical therapist about it. She's like, "Dan! You're not 16 anymore!". I had to reassure her that it was good for me to exercise like that. My back felt good after the workout.

I youtubed The Oak Ridge Boys, I'd actually know some of their music I didn't recognise the name.

Pretty sure first album was Pisces, Aquarius and Jones, Ltd., by the Monkees. First concert was The Association and The Guess Who at the Illinois State Fair in the summer of 1968.
I would love to have seen the Guess Who from that time. BTO was the closest I have come.
