Is that you, Bigfoot?

One time I was hunting with my dad, and I managed to bag myself a buck. It was towards the later part of the day, so I processed my deer as quickly as I could before it got dark and took it home. Unfortunately, I couldn't find some of the gear - I'd need to go back in the morning and look for it

My dad wanted to help out, so we both looked around. See, I had gotten my deer next to a thick tree line full of heavy brush. When I looked up at the treeline, I saw a massive dark shadow moving through the woods. I thought it was a grizzly, so I yelled out to my dad to look out

It was a guy hauling a giant pile of brush on his back. He was picking salal bushes to sell to local land scapers and floral shops. Up until that moment, though, I was convinced in my mind that I was looking at a bear

I'm pretty sure something similar happens when people see bigfoot in the woods. Our minds like to fill in the blanks of what we don't quite understand what we are looking at in the heat of the moment. I'm sure adreneline plays a role as well

Coincidentally, I found what may be a bear track on my trail this morning:

I should have included something to demonstrate size, but if it were a human shoe size I would say it was maybe a nine, so if it was a bear it was a small one.

I heard something crashing around in the woods close to me about 3:30 in the morning.

Would have been cool if it was Bigfoot though.

If bigfoot ends up joining you for dinner today, could you get an autograph for me and tell him I’m a huge fan? :D

On a more serious note, be careful! I’m glad it is a small bear. Hopefully black and not brown.
