Bill Introduced To Limit President's Authority Over Stratgic Oil Reserve

On Jan 26th the House passed a bill (221-205) to limit a President's authority over use of the Stratgic Oil Reserve.
I see this as something that had to be done because of Biden's actions over the past two years in his use of this reserve. As far as I'm cocerned his action of selling oil to China from this reserve was irresponsible and his release of oil to attempt to lower fuel prices was nothing more than a political stunt. On Jan 12 the House passed a bill (331-97) to restrict the release of oil from the reserve to China or affiliated entities.
The President says he will veto the bill if it gets to him that limits his power over the reserve.

And I bet you claimed that he was responsible for high oil prices too. If you ever did that would be hypocrisy on your part.

Oil is sold on the open market. Worse yet it appears that you want to declare war on China. You clearly don't understand the consequences of your proposed actions.

Glad you find this political theatre entertaining. That is the only reason they are doing stuff like this.

A couple of fox sources that of course are biased right. What's the reality:

The reality U.S. Selling Oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to the Highest Bidding Companies - FactCheck.org

And since Congress lifted a nearly 40-year ban on most U.S. crude oil exports in 2015, the Department of Energy, which maintains the stockpile, cannot dictate whether companies can export oil purchased from the petroleum reserve, the department said in an email.

As expected, the GOP-controlled House are proposing redundant and partisanship-driven bills instead of properly doing their job and serving the people's interests.

For the last decade all its been about is...
"us against them"
"them against us"
"Dems against repubs"
"Repubs against dems"

I don't see it getting better anytime soon.

And, of course, not acting to lessen the President's authority of a nuclear strike. Oil is the past. Nukes are here for a future much longer than us, and Trump showed us one person cannot be trusted with such immense power, and with Biden seeming to have memories blunders like I do he might forget where he meant to strike. Not a good thing.

Well it seems that the Biden cheering crowd is alive and well.
You do realize that the vote in the House top prevent releases from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to buyers “under the ownership, control, or influence of the Chinese Communist Party. was passed with a vote of 331-97 with all Republicans and most Democrats in support.
I also suggest you also read the following link and tell me what Biden did is within the same emergencies as listed and the requiremnts for doing so.
