Interviewing God

Not contradicting that but so far it's an unproven statement about the dating of artifacts outside the establishment of the city of Damascus beyond approximately 3000 BCE. If you can provide the dating proof I'm willing to look at it. Not an estimate but the exact process. Thanks.

I see you have no idea how artifact dating works.

It is not just one test but several different test including the layer in which the artifact was found, the construction/working of the artifact, comparison to othere similar artifacts found elsewhere and one of several scientific methods that bring the accuracy of dating within less than 1%

For artifacts up to 25000 years old that is as accurate as your are going to get.

It is if the victim is unwilling
Had their families not been massacred at gods command there would be no need to care for themselves l. But i think such a statement to be very derogatory towards women. Women are just as capable of looking after themselves as men. Oh and they had families before god saw to it that they didn't

Remember those people were beyond reform and remember those people even burned their children.
Some researches even wonder why God did Not act sooner than he did.
Back then in that situation those ' war brides ' would have had No place to turn. No way to care for themselves.
Back at that time and setting the woman would have had No way to look after themselves as today's women.
Their lives were not only spared but marriage gave them protection, a home and security and family life.

Yes the bible had some horrible stories about enemies.. same happens today. Have you ever met anyone that would burn their own child?

Yet they would probably have preferred to die in poverty than be a sex slave to their families murderer.

I know i would.

I think we don't know anyone who burns their child alive (even though one classmate after birth threw her living newborn in the trash) She got caught because in the trash was also the mail.
Burning up children serving as food for idols was Not God's idea - Jeremiah 32:34; 2 Chronicles 28:3; Ezekiel 23:37
Such a God-dishonoring practice was Not God's idea - Deuteronomy 18:10; Deuteronomy 12:31

The definition of wife (Genesis 2:24) is Not sex slave or any other kind of slave.
The wicked men were executed. Just like today there is a difference between: killing, murder and execution.
Execution of the wicked is for the sake of the righteous ones, save the righteous ones.

Well according you some , your god created us... Everyone... Interesting that gets his oppos to murderband rape his failures.

A woman raken against her will after watching her family massacred and forced to marry the one who killed her loved ones is not a willing wife.

And you can bull all you want go gloss over the horror of it it is still a horror

And don't forget: "Happy is the one who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks" (Psalm 137:9), or God commanding the Israelites to massacre the Amalekites, telling them to kill every man, woman, child, and infant, kill all their animals, and destroy their property (1 Samuel 15:3). As I previously stated (see here), the following Bible stories aren't exemplary examples of upright moral behavior: forcing a rape victim to marry her rapist; smashing infants' heads against rocks; ordering the execution of witches; God commanding his "chosen people" to kill an entire populace of foreign nations for their land in a conquest to possess a "promised land"; or God being irrationally angry and committing global genocide by killing every living creature and eradicating the entire human race (aside from Noah and his family) in a worldwide flood. So much for God's commandment, "Thou shalt not kill." Such hypocrisy.

Some of the same arguments i use, it's funny how they are ignored or accepted because god...

Yeah, they would rather blame the creation: humanity and the devil rather than blame their omnipotent and omniscient creator. Of course, I don't believe that the Bible is the infallible and inerrant "Word of God," and I'm not even sure if God exists in the first place.

Our day and time frame is Not the same as with the Canaanite's time frame. - Deuteronomy 20:17-18
It was MAN who was dominating MAN to MAN"s hurt, MAN's injury - Deuteronomy 20:10-12
Marriage is Not rape.
Everything in this system is temporary. The Bible paints a beautiful paradisical future which includes a happy-and-healthy resurrection for the dead. - Acts of the Apostles 24:15 - Isaiah 35th chapter.Their past grief and our former grief will be forgotten - Isaiah 65:16-25

Or, accepted without meaning. Psalms 137:8-9 corresponds to Isaiah 13:1; Isaiah 13:16-22 about Babylon.
The expression to 'dash the little ones against the stone' is an expression meaning that the family line, the family name, would be wiped out, and it was.
The magnitude of this happening was on October 5, 539 BC /BCE ( before our common era )

The God of the Bible is NOT omnipotent because God can Not lie - Titus 1:2
Sure God can choose to have knowledge unbounded (omniscient) but God created His intelligent creation with free will.
In other words, God gifted us with free-willed choices to make up our own minds.
To see all things into the future then the Adam & Eve senario would Not have taken place.
Who challenged God but Satan. God did Not challenge Himself.
Notice that we are Not forced by God to obey.

You simply have not been understanding have you.

I suggest you ask some women you know whether such a situation is seen as rape.

How wonderful is a book that advocated wiping out whole families.
And writing is so ot can be confused with killing children.

Seems you forgot to mentions what the Amalekites did as found at Judges 6:3-6,33; Judges 7:12 to 8:21 when the Amalekites plundered the area where the Israelites crops were ripening causing the Israelites to be in poverty.
That is why God used Gideon at that time. - 1 Samuel 15:2-3 notice verse 2 besides verse 3.
Also, it was Amalekites who burned the city of Ziklag carrying off David's two wives.- 1 Samuel 30:1-20

Most Christians, in my opinion, have the astute ability to explain away (revise in their own version) Bible verses that they don't like or that reflect the biblical God in such a horrific and genocidal manner. For example, Isaiah 45:7 states unequivocally that God creates evil, but Christians will bend over backwards to explain that verse away and revise what it clearly states. I must say that the mental gymnastics they go through to modify controversial scriptures in the Bible to defend their God are quite impressive.

No, I have not forgotten that the Old Testament contains horrific acts of violence, whether they were carried out by God directly, by him ordering the Israelites to carry out such acts, or because God permitted such acts by creating a fallen world and allowing "free will." In any case, I think that God is a sadistic, psychotic, and genocidal monster that is unworthy of reverence, worship, and praise.

The fact that the layer(s) surrounding the artifacts may be much older than the artifacts themselves is interesting. And since no one here, as far as I know, has explained the way these artifacts were explicitly processed by dating methods is apparently not within the venue of someone claiming to agree with the claims.

Up to you, i really couldn't care less. When several dating methods agree the artifacts are between 8 and 10 thousand years olrd then there is only answer. And a young earth is not it.

Yes they are to within a few minutes.

It was MAN who was dominating MAN to MAN"s hurt, MAN's injury

And who created man then killed off his mistakes?

Marriage is Not rape.

Check the law on marital rape. Check the law on forced marriage.

Oh woo.
Yet you have no evidence of this but rather that admit you really don't know you fill in the gaps in knowledge with god and the bible, very comforting.

Their past grief and our former grief will be forgotten

Again, evidence, not a quite 2500 year old book of mythology but falsifiable evidence please

You're right. There is Nothing in Genesis to conclude a young earth.
We don't know if each of the creative days were of the same or differing lengths of time.
ALL of the creative days are summed up by the single word 'day' at Genesis 2:4
Plus, the 7th day (God's rest day from further creating ) is still ongoing - Hebrews 4:4-11
