One needs to quote from Yeshua for all these claims
in first person in an unambiguous, unequivocal and straightforward manner, please. Right?
Greeting,
did not the Lord Jesus from his own Lips stated that he is God? let's check the record.

John 2:18 "Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?" John 2:19 "Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." John 2:20 "Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?"John 2:21 "But he spake of the temple of his body." John 2:22 "When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said."

note verse 19. the Lord Jesus said that he would raise up his body after three days.

Note verse 22. "his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said."

if his disciples REMEMBERED what he and the what the SCRIPTURES said, why then did Peter say, on the Day of Pentecost, "God", raised up Jesus body? ..... unless he KNEW that Jesus is God?

to all,
as for the apostle Paul, did he not have a witness in declaring that Jesus is God also at his conversion?...... did not the disciple, Ananias, at Damascus certified this claim?

..and how does that work, exactly?
If a person believes Jesus is God, then God rewards them with "heaven" .. is that right?
..and if a person does not believe that Jesus is God, then they get a booby prize?

..nothing to do with righteousness then .. that is irrelevant, is it?
Seriously, if you don't know, you should read the Book.
"Then he believed in the Lord; and He reckoned it to him as righteousness."

"and he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had while uncircumcised, so that he might be the father of all who believe without being circumcised, that righteousness might be credited to them. "

"Now that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for, “The righteous man shall live by faith.”

"But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness,"

"even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction;"

"and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith,"

"for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."

..not a word about "Jesus is God" in that post..

John 2:22

None of the above verses is from (Jesus) Yeshua- the Israelite Messiah, please:

Holy Bible King James Version (Red Letter Edition)
The Roman Catholic Holy Bible with the words of Jesus in red.
World Messianic Bible

Right?

Sorry, didn't one fail miserably to quote from Yeshua- the Israelite Messiah in first person in an unambiguous, unequivocal and straightforward manner, please?
Right?

Have a heart and try another time, please, right?

Greeting in the Name of the Lord Jesus,
John 2:19 "Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." are you saying that the Lord Jesus did not say this?
look, I can careless if it was blue letters. the scripture states he "SAID" that, and the word SAID itself is not in red letters, so that excuse want work, nor the excuse, "Holy Bible King James Version (Red Letter Edition)"...... so?

what's wrong, you have a problem seeing RED?

as with personal opinions, EXCUSES, moves me not either. so, you can try something else than that.

KIND regards in Christ Jesus,

101G Good to meet you...
I add "Christians today are blessed!" Christians believe "Jesus is God!"

28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”
29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.

101G Jesus himself tells us... Blessed are those today who have not seen and yet have believed the same as the Christian Thomas did: My Lord & My God!!
Clearly those people today that reject what Christians have always believe are NOT Blessed!

Agreed, Jesus the Christ is the Lord God almighty, "Shared" in Flesh as an ECHAD of his oneself.

it's good to hear Christians declaring the true God. "JESUS".

be blessed in the Lord. Amen

" John 2:19 "Jesus answered and said"

Didn't one fail terribly a second time to quote from Yeshua in the first person, the above verse " John 2:19 " is a third person narrative from anonymous gospels named " John" (most certainly) deceptively, as one understands please? Right?

Never mind , one is a friend, one can try a third time, if one likes to, please. Right?

Regards

Jesus has been known as different Gods at different time periods. He is Lucifer(The light bearer. (John 1:4 (KJV)), Loki in the Norse myths. Poseidon in the Greek, Geshtu-E in the Akkadian Atrahasis.

Geshtu-E was the God slain (Revelation 13:8 (KJV), Genesis 9: (4-6)) to make human kind. John 1:4, what was in Him was life and what was in Him was the light of man. He lives in your heart.

Loki is the serpent in the Garden. Eve (Paraphrasing) That serpent tricked me. He was the the most subtle(sneakiest) (Genesis 3:1) )of all the beast in the field. He was the begotten (taken or gotten) son of Odin who could be reborn after death.

He was an Atlantean king. His throne was in the midst of the sea. See Ezekiel 28:2 (KJV) or Psalms 104:3 (KJV). Sound strange. Walking on water shouldn't be a problem for Him.

This goes on and on and I believe He is very real for many reasons. The Atlantean King will return. Expect our technological development to accelerate. His kingdom is being prepared for His arrival.

jhwatts good to meet you...... Yes, it goes on and on! But it is rubbish!

Jesus is God as the scriptures tell you!
There is One God as the scriptures tell you!
God is Perfect and Jesus is Perfect as the scriptures tell you!
This also goes on and on!

Muffled

Jesus in me
A simple statement..
..so why did Jesus say...

No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father
Matthew 24:36

Why did Jesus "pretend" that he wasn't God, and not omniscient?

I believe Jesus did not pretend that He wasn't God.

I believe it is a problem with the English language. We don't distinguish between something we know by familiarity and something we know by experience, Jesus will not experience the extinguishing of the earth but He could not have made the statement if He didn't know that.

..not a word about "Jesus is God" in that post..
.
muhammad_isa Jesus died for us because God is Love he did not have to save us, but he did out of pure love!
It all comes down to this truth: The God of the Christian is our Father; we are the Children of God!

Our God is not our master we are not slaves to him! Your god is a different god then the God of the Christian! The Christian has One God who took our place in death: dying on a cross! It was in dying that Jesus destroyed death and then restored life in his resurrection all this was done for His Children out of perfect love!
muhammad_isa The Anti-Christ is anti-Christian!
Christians are "Christ Followers"! Satan hates Christians he hates the Truth! There is No anti-Mohamad no anti-Buda no anti-Krishna no anti-Hindu etc because; all these are pulling Christians away from the truth, all of these are doing the work of Satan! Satan hates man and he hates the Cross because it was by the cross that he was defeated, Satan would never allow his children to use the cross or put a cross on any of his temples/churches! The Cross is a Christian symbol, when we look at the Cross, we are reminded of the love God has for us!
