A fantastic Kabbalah site

By genuine Kabbalah I mean Kabbalah that has not been been watered down with Tarot Cards, Astrology and any other rubbish you may care to mention. We study Lurianinc Kabbalah using genuine sources from the Ari, Baal Hasulam, Rabbi Akiva, Rabbi Baruch Ashlag (AKA The Rabash.) The Zohar and follow the spiritual guidance of our leader Rabbi Michael Laitman.

Please check out the following link: This will give you an idea of who Bnei Baruch are and what we hope to achieve.

They say that the best things in life are free - well in this case it's absolutely right.

So hermetic qabbalah would not be genuine then..lol?

I guess thats a yes....

I guess even in kabbalah closed minds ae abound...or am I wrong?

I do realise that many think that Kabbalah is JEWISH and nothing else....its a pity that that is simply not the truth

If you are able to approach the Tarot from a... non-corporate angle, you may find that there is some merit to it. It speaks in metaphors, and our subconscious (or "unconscious", to be more "correct") speaks to us in symbols. I don't really believe they can tell us the future, but if you meditate upon them with a basic working knowledge of the symbols, you can learn some fascinating things about yourself (at the present)... that your unconscious mind knew but you yourself did not. They help to bring it all to the surface, so to speak.

Astrology and the "other rubbish"... well, I can't speak for either. I am not familiar enough with Astrology to put any merit in it, and I don't know of what "other rubbish" you refer.

this is about to get good.

Right genuine Kabbalah is when you are studying becuase you want to come in contact with God himself All these other things Tarot, Astrology ect, ect are all designed for self benefit nothing more. In Kabbalah we learn that two spiritual objects can only come into contact with each other when they are similar in properties. The Creator is Alturistic he wants to give. We are humans and want to recieve that is why we are seperated form each other becuase our properties are different. Through Kabbalah we learn to correct ourselves to change this gulf in property so that we would become alturistic. Essentially the will to recieve never leaves us, what we do with it is to change it from a desire to recieve in order to receieve to a desire to recieve in order to bestow. In short we change the nature of the reception.

Through Kabbalah we discover what the meaning of our lives our and help to speed up the process of the entire worlds correction which every human being - whether in this life or a life to come must come to at some point.

Kabbalah without the right intention, sources and Rabbi is not going to lead you to anything good or worthwhile.

Aye, but isn't it important to "Know thyself" before you can seriously embark on a spiritual journey like that? How can you stop trying to recieve if you do not even consciously REALIZE you want to recieve? Tarot could help with the "know thyself" part of the path.

To Master Homer,

You are right Kabbalah is not just for Jews it is for everyone. I have been studying Kabbalah for 3 years now and I am Anglo Saxon with no physical jewish connection in my family at all.

But what is a jew ? A Jew is a person who wants to come in direct contact with the creator - he or she is sometimes referred to as a returning one. (Baal Teshuva) That is the true meaning of the word Jew. The word "Israel" itself means directly to God. Those of us who have what we call a point in the heart who want to return to God whilst living on this earth have the most unimiginably important job to do.

Well Kabbalah like I said is for those that feel the neccessity to come back To The Creator - their root essentially - this is what we call the point in the heart the spark in a person that wishes to return to God. (Though it is said that the most suited people for studying Kabbalah are those that ask "What is the meaning of my lfe ?")

People who start to study Kabbalah will very quickly start to come to the realisation that their desire to recieve for themselves is what is causing their problems and if they only sort to reverse it the they would come to an eternal bounty. As it says in the holy Zohar "Open up your heart just a little bit and I will open up the entire world to you" (However before anybody rushes off to buy a Zohar, which is freely available, I would just stress that without the correct intention during its study, a genuine Rabbi one that has crossed the barrier (The barrier being the Red Sea as in the case of Moses.) and a group (Kabbalah must be studied in a group.) then The Zohar is not going to do anything for you. (The Zohar is the most important Kabbalistic text though it is actually written in the language of The Midrash.)

Remeber what I said on a different post sufferings push us from behind and the search for pleasure pulls us forward. That is what will happen during the study. Eventually it will correct us and bring us to spirituall. We will retain the desire to recieve but this time with the correct intention in as much as we only recieve pleasure for the sake of pleasing The Creator.

Why must Kabbalah be studied in a group?

And what do you mean by "crossing the Red Sea"? I'm assuming you mean metaphorically... but I don't understand the metaphor. I have only the faintest notions of biblical myth... I'm a little TOO pagan... :p

Hi Runt,

The story of Moses is a metaphor. The metaphor basically goes like this:

Moses is enslaved to his egoism and this egoism is what we call Pharoah. Pharoah poses this question to Moses "Who is The Creator that you should serve him ?" Meaning you are enjoying yourself working for me why you should you want to serve anyone else. Unfortunately Moses starts to suffer because of following his egoism and that is where we get the idea of Pharoah beating moses and causing him suffering. Moses with the help of The Creator wishes to leave the slavery of his egoism to serve The Creator.

Now if you remeber in the story, Moses heads out of Egypt and comes to The Red sea with the Israelites. Pharaoh chases them and traps them by The Red Sea. This essentially means that Pharoah once again threatens to enslave moses again but this time The Craetor parts the Red Sea and allows Moses to walk through it and cross over to the other side. What The Red Sea signifies is the barrier between our world and the spiritual world. Our world where our desire is to receive in order to recieve the spiritual world where the desire is to receive in order to bestow. The Israleites are essentially Moses' group and the reason Kabbalah has to be studied in groups is because one persons desires are simply not enough to attain the light of correction that will take us out of egoism and into alturism. One persons desires are not enough we need to have a multitude of prayers that will allow us to cross The Red Sea. Only in a group can this be achieved.

I hope that helps.

UTTER RUBBISH.....
You have been fed lies...

Judaic qabbalah is NOT the only form..lurianic qabblah is not the only way..repeat!!!!

The great work is NOT soley JEWISH!......

Tarot and astrology and the tree of life are all just AIDES to HELP you "talk to 'God'".......there are TOOLS to HELP ONE..JUST AS IS THE TREE OF LIFE..HELP ONE BE ONE WITH GOD and to help the flow of energy from the entire universe flow..."the worlds correction" as you put it

Only satanists and idiots seek self agrandisement.....

next post to read..lol

exactly!
and tarot and the tree helps one to KNOW more about the 22 paths ...

it is NOT about self agrandisement

You are right Kabbalah is not just for Jews it is for everyone. I have been studying Kabbalah for 3 years now and I am Anglo Saxon with no physical jewish connection in my family at all.

Well I am A jew......and my tteacher has been doing Qabblah for over 30 years...taught by one of the greats...WG GRay who was a former meber of the goldfen dawn and friend of Israel regardie....

ANY Jew will tel you ....as does my teacher...it is STUPID for a non jew to learn Judaic qabbalah..WHY?....because Kabblah is part of the culture...you are learning about a leg...and leaving out the head...torso...and the rest of the body.....but I have been taught one's spirituality chooses one...not the other way around...

So good luck....you have chosen a difficult way!
I'd recommend ayreh kaplan..if you dont already use him...and z'ev ben shimon halevi.....though I think you do not need my advioce!

Beleiving a Jew has the only way to God or the only way with qabbalah is ridiculous...

But good luck...as a Jew that wasnt raised a JEw...GOOD luck,,,,you will NEED it!

Qabbalah is NOT the only way to return to "God...."
Personally I just spent all weekend in the underwiorld with the faeriues..doing a totally ALTERNATIVE way

"How can you have peace in the world if you do not have peace in your hearts" (some wise Tibettan person!!!)

KLnow thyself is from the mysteries.....

Why must Kabbalah be studied in a group?

And what do you mean by "crossing the Red Sea"? I'm assuming you mean metaphorically... but I don't understand the metaphor. I have only the faintest notions of biblical myth... I'm a little TOO pagan...

It does not have to be studied in a gropu...but lioke any magic...group work and solo work has its benefits....kabblah traditionally is 100% ORAL...thus the "need" for group work.....
WHy is it oral...because it does nto wrok until it is within thyself adn working on one's copnciousness.....

the analogy I like...."one can watch painters forever and read about painting...but until you pick up a brush you will NEVER be a painter"...this goes for ALL magic does it not?...you can read till you are blue in the face......but you will have doine NOTHING..until you do.....

My teacher teaches PAGANISM AND QABBALAH...and intergrates the 2 in a marriage that was always existed...Rosicrucianism for instance IS a faery tradition...Rosicrucianism is a pivotal movement for "modern" occultists....but am sure most know this???? ie...the masons..golden dawn etc..all came from rosicrucianism....kind of....ie ...faery magioc..is ANCIENT

As dfespite WHAT most books tell you...hermetic qabbalah is NOT and never WAS Judaic kabblah..they are seperate..and always were......obviously they cross over...but they are seperatew streams....

ok off my pulpit....mwaaah sorry all

having made promises in faery land this weekend...my qabbalah studies are actually gonna take a place on "simmer".....

Master Hoomer,

Cuz if you are in contact with The Creator why aren't you showing others how to do this also or are you so special that only you can come to this realisation ? If you are in contact with the Creator why aren't showing others how to fulfill this mission ? The answer is you are not and you can't. If you want to follow the ways of the likes of Aleister Crowley ect ect fine go ahead I really don't care. If a person doens't have a point in the heart then I am of no use to them no matter what . However what I have to do is spread genuine Kabbalah to the masses. To all who want it. I don't claim to be a Rabbi, a saint, a prophet or any such thing what I am is a person who desperately needs to speed up correction. For all of our sakes.

Master Hoomer I don't care what you do you choose your path a go down it - you stated this in an earlier email - fine I don't care. (If you are looking for some audience to say "Oh master Hoomer please come back to the correct fold" You aren't going to get that attention from me Cuz. You just ain't going to get it Homeboy because I really don't give a f**k what you do. Just don't hinder me. I do what I am concerned with and that is spreading genuine Kabbalah - you do what you gotta do.

Well I am A jew......and my tteacher has been doing Qabblah for over 30 years...taught by one of the greats...WG GRay who was a former meber of the goldfen dawn and friend of Israel regardie....

The Golden Dawn was run by a certain Aleister Crowley wasn't it Master Hoomer ? Do you want me to tell people about him or should I ? IF YOU CLAIM TO BE A GENUINE KABBALIST FINE ? PROVE IT SHOW ME THE WAY TO THE CREATOR. ? HOW CAN I CROSS THE BARRIER ?

You say you studied under some great man who is Jewish. Really good for you. The fact that you or him consider him great is already a bad sign becuase a genuine Rabbi should only lead you to GOD nothing more. A true Rabbi is fulfilling his duty.
