The Super Mario Bros. movie (2023 version)

I will admit the second trailer listed here, which was released a bit later than the first, convinced me to watch this movie better than the first trailer did.

This movie may have big shoes to fill after the Sonic movies. But after seeing the second trailer, I now think it can well deliver.

The animation looks amazing, but they hired the wrong voice actors.

I'll end up watching this once it hits streaming or linear TV. I don't intend on buying a physical or digital copy of this movie. Most likely I won't end up seeing it in theaters either.

I’m only going to watch it because it’s the only thing that looks somewhat appealing out of the movies these last couple years. And that isn’t saying much. It’s Mario, that’s why…

Well, at least they do have to at least try and put deliberate effort into being worse than the first Mario movie to be worst than the first Mario movie. So, there's that for it I suppose, lmao.

I broke my many years of not going to see any movies to go see Studio 666. I thought it was a great movie for a deliberately silly horror flick (he discovers the key of L, lmao), some good rock n roll goodies, and I still wonder how amd why we weren't doing Pearl Jam High Fives back in the day.
Then I saw Batman and haven't been interested enough since.

Yeah Batman was about the last good one. Before that was Spiderman NWH. And the entire MCU up until endgame was great imo
