Kanye West Suspended from Twitter Again

Just two months after Twitter reinstated Kanye West's account, he has been suspended from the platform again:

Dec 2 (Reuters) - Twitter Inc on Friday suspended the account of Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West again, just two months after it was reinstated, because Elon Musk said the rapper violated the platform's rules prohibiting incitement to violence.

Ye's account showed a notice that it was suspended, after one of his posts had earlier appeared to show a swastika symbol inside a Star of David.

The billionaire owner of Twitter, who calls himself a free speech absolutist, had welcomed the return of the rapper, now known as Ye, to the platform in October.

"I tried my best. Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended," Musk tweeted in reply to a Twitter user who said "Elon Fix Kanye Please".

It seems that even the "free speech absolutist" now realizes that certain forms of speech are a red line to most users, advertisers, and public figures. I'm unsure how he even thought the idea of a free-for-all environment on a social-media platform could be wise or conducive to a healthy atmosphere, but he has been finding out the hard way that some of the previously banned Twitter users were banned for sound reasons far beyond "cancel culture" or similar ideologically charged buzzwords.

Yeah, I saw that earlier, too. I suppose it is kind of ironic that he reinstates him and then bans him. He says "I tried," but I guess Kanye was too crazy even for Musk. I was never a fan of Kanye West or any of his antics, but it seems the guy has gone through some kind of total breakdown of some sort. I guess he was married to Kim Kardashian, and I can imagine that would drive any man to the edge of insanity.

Still, he seems to revel in the spotlight that the media are hellbent on giving him. Maybe he figures negative publicity is better than no publicity at all, or maybe the guy really is going crackers.

I think the negative attention is all Yay and Trump can get these days. I saw a report how Trump has demanded that he be installed as president immediately. He repeated the Big Lie on his own platform

Trump again calls to be reinstated as president claiming FBI and social media fraud

I suspect Trump is avoiding Twitter to not sabotage the appeal of his own platform, and to not ruin his access to Twitter, as Yay has done, which he might use in the future.

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.

Should of kept his account and place a disclaimer that Twitter is not responsible for another's actions.

Since I thought of that, it baffles me why a billionaire Ceo didn't go that route.

I suppose lawyers today are more scary than an out of control rappers expressed meaning in accordance with his life philosophy.

It's probably that sane, rational people tend to draw the line at inciting violence. Kanye broke the rules and faced the consequences.
Even playing a tiny violin is more effort than its worth. People need to learn how to just suck it up when they break the rules and face consequences (especially when you agreed to those rules). They aren't special snowflakes entitled to be above the rules, they aren't entitled snowflakes and deserving of special treatment.
You break the rules and you face the consequences. It's simple, it's easy, and if you can't handle it then stick to the rules and leave the rule violations to those who can get them amd say oh well and carry on without complaining about it.

Lol ahh man that Alex Jones interview though!!!

The video has been making the rounds on leftist social media, with everyone dumbfounded by it lol
Even Alex Jones looked freaked out by Ye’s actions

I’ve been watching lefties react to it all week. Truly bizarre

LOL is right. That was a hysterical interview. Imagine Alex Jones being the voice of reason and moderation in any discussion.

Lmao!!!
When you make Alex “they’re turning the freaking frogs gay” Jones look sane by comparison, I think it’s time to reevaluate your life choices lol
Truly this is the most bizarre timeline

How many of us will forget, or just keep going on with the old name like we do with Prince?
Prince changed his name back to his given name (which happens to be Prince) after he got out of the record label's clutches which caused him to change his name in the first place.

I've just always called him Prince, and was actually surprised when I learned that was really his name. I long thought it was something like Freddy Mercury, Alice Cooper or Eminem and not his birth name but a changed to or stage name.

I guess what I seem to notice about this moment in time, regarding this whole thing, is that all the podcasts and news outlets are really throwing a huge spotlight on this guy. I guess I'm just not sure if that's the greatest thing in itself, because one wonders if it doesn't goad people to be outrageous (if this is something that the fellow is actually doing completely voluntarily, as often it said that he has a mental health issue), because then they get all this spotlight frenzy. I don't think it's good. So there's that

I suggest the media does not know how to handle speech on some level. If speech is inappropriate and even vile, don't approach it with climactic levels of coverage. Cover more good stories, and behavior that is good, and acts of kindness, and ways that things might be improving, o media machine
