What do you think of 2 Peter 1:11-15?

I think you should try a more modern translation than the ancient and sometimes obscure English of the Authorised Version.

It's about St. Peter excusing himself for continuing to nag his audience, so long as he lives, about what they need to do to be good Christians (as he has just outlined in verses 3-8), even though he is aware they know (in principle) what they should be doing.

As with so many of these passages, it is rather a waste of time to take them out of their context and expect them to mean very much.

What is the point of your question here?
As others have said, randomly pulling texts out of the Bible and posting them doesn't have much meaning to the forum...what are you pointing out or wanting to know the forums opinion on exactly?
