What kind of candy bars do you like?

I am not a candy eater, but around Halloween I saw all the candy at Walmart so I grabbed a bag of Butterfinger snack size bars because I remembered liking the when I as a kid. Well, I liked the taste but they stuck to my teeth so I decided not to buy them again. So, the next time I went to Walmart I got a bag of PayDay snack size bars. I really liked them so continued to buy them. Problem is, after a few weeks Walmart no longer had PayDay bars and it was late at night and I was in a hurry to get out of the store so I grabbed a bag of BabyRuth miniatures and a bag of Reese’s miniatures. I had never tried BabyRuth candy bars but I did not like them very much. I have had Reese’s Peanut Butter cups and I used to like them but I did not like them much either.

I was sorely disappointed after that so the next time I went to Safeway I decided to get the PayDays and pay the higher price. I thought that Walmart was not going to carry them again so I picked up another bag at Safeway last night, only to discover that Walmart had them back in stock in the family size bag, which is twice as large as the regular bag for only a dollar more. I was pretty mad that I had paid so much at Safeway, so I picked up two family size bags! Needless to say, I am going to be eating PayDays for a long time! I guess that is okay as long as I don’t eat too many at a time.

Payday candy bars are good.
When I eat candy bars its either payday or hershey with almonds.

I used to like Butterfingers, but not since they changed the recipe.
My favorite is probably Snickers, though I'm also fond of Twix.
And I still need to try a European KitKat.

I have just returned from NZ where my wife grew up and she bought Chocolate Fish, for the grand kids, which she remembered fondly from childhood and it is hard to stop eating them. Strawberry (and possibly other flavours) fish shaped marshmallow dipped in chocolate.

That reminds me of when I used to go to a lake in Canada for the summer vacation... The little store had Canadian candy bars that were not available in the U.S.

But I am in enough trouble with the Pay Days!

I suppose it's better to swap from one addiction to another rather than have a few going at the same time.

So many examples of their culture that could be brought up but out come the chocolate fish.
It's not as if Maoris used to pass fish to each other from mouth to mouth while they were greeting each other with the rubbing noses Maori greeting.
