In the real world justice sometimes does not exist. And it certainly does not exist in the Bible.

All we can say in retrospect all we can say is "Hitler is finally dead and that is a good thing" vs "This ten year old died way to early and that is a bad thing". There is no justice to be found from either source.

Justice against the wicked and also mercy is offered by God, but we don't see it now.

So what? One can do that if one is a Christian or if one is an atheist. And an atheist can be better than any Christian. That really is a pointless argument. It does not indicate the existence or nonexistence of a god.

It was not meant to be an argument for the existence of God.

Sorry, but the history of the Jews is no different from others. They have legendary leaders that did not exist too. The Bible slowly bends from myth to history. It does not being to be accurate until the time of the Babylonian captivity.
Yes, the history of the Jews is different in many ways from others. So now you're saying it is accurate insofar as the Babylonian captivity?

Correct, and that is closer to the Bible and its beliefs than it is to evolution. Evolution explains that there is almost no difference between the races. In fact it shows the concept of race as we use it to be nonexistent.
Just wondering... Gorillas and other types did not interbreed producing lineage that survived while the originators went extinct?
"Eugenics is a scientific and social movement, based on Darwin's theories of human evolution, which was originally
defined as the science of racial betterment—its name being based on the Greek words for “good” and “born” (Galton,
1865, 1869, 1904; Popenoe & Johnson, 1918/1935). Eugenics is related to social Darwinism, which focuses on extend-
ing Darwin's theories of plant and animal evolution to the social lives of human beings, especially in regard to societal
processes (Bannister, 2010)"

On that day you shall die.

They didn't. And please, no apologetics allowed.
No apologetics? Not needed. The death penalty was imposed without wavering the day they ate from that tree. One day, the Bible says, is as a thousand years. Not that I expect you to believe that either way ..they had the death penalty placed the day they did what God told them not to do.
"But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." Later...maybe.

Yes, there are records of the Babylonian captivity. There is almost nothing of the Bible from before then. It is thought that the "Books of Moses" were written then. We know that they copied the Noah's Ark story from them.

Nope. They were still alive. In fact they were always going to die. That was not changed that day. You missed a very important verse in the myth.

Sorry, but your post makes no sense at all.

We don't know that at all. But just to verify, you are saying that the biblical records we have today included in the Bible canon about the captivity in Babylon is true?

Yes they were alive. But they were headed for death the DAY they ate from that tree. Not before. If I thought you made sense, I might believe you. But...you guessed it. I don't. You can keep arguing but I'll say one more thing and then it's time for me to go. Some translations say "in that day" while others say "on that day."
Genesis 2:17
New King James Version
but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

New American Standard Bible
but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for on the day that you eat from it you will certainly die.”

Now what I keep in mind is that when Jesus was in front of Pilate, he didn't argue and Pilate asked questions. Gnite.

Why don't we know that?

What evidence is there for anything else?

And no, we know that parts of the Bible written then are not true. We know that Genesis is myth. Exodus is legend. The stories of the conquest of Canaan are very inaccurate.

The Bible does not say that, nor does it support that.

As you quoted, they were supposed to die that day. not nine or eight hundred years later. You are still forgetting the verse that shows that you are wrong.

How do any of us "know" what we believe. It is not a matter of "knowing".
Yes, believing is not knowing. But do you know the reason why you believe? This is the knowing I was talking about. There has to be some reason why you believe something and also why you don't believe something else (for example why you believe Bible and not Quran).
