Do you have an onion? What kind is it? What do you intend to do with it?

There's a whole purple onion in a basket next to garlic, ginger, and turmeric, and we generally have chopped onion in the refrigerator to sprinkle on variety of dishes - pizza, chili, tacos, soups, salads. Also, there's leftover French onion soup in the refrigerator from lunch out yesterday, but that's unusual.
