Looking Through Binoculars, Kamala Harris Reacts To Seeing The DMZ In Person: “It’s So Close!”… | Weasel Zippers

Yes Supreme Chairwoman Kamala.

Binoculars definitely do that. It's what they do.

Oh. Our SupremeChairwoman learns so fast these days.

Who would of thought binoculars made things closer when you look through them?

Debate question. ...

Is the American leadership today insanely addleminded or just so sharp and intelligent they have too full a hard drive that nothing else fits in?

A lot of Americans don't really know geography or world affairs all that much. It's much easier to manipulate the masses into going to war when they have no idea as to the layout of the world. It seems the same principle can be applied to higher level offices, too.

Some of the comments were actually kind of funny, though.

I can appreciate that after the hilarious antics of Mr The Donald (if you’re outside the US it was beyond hilarious anyway) things are kind of boring now.
But may I politely suggest finding a hobby?

I can appreciate the “trolling” though.

Its one thing for the average dumb American.

It's another for high profile, supposedly world leaders who seem to have an inability to grasp the simplest things now days.

Having political leaders with knowledge of the world hasn't really been a very high priority for American voters, nor is it really necessary to be successful in US politics and law.

Ever notice how many politicians, bureaucrats, government officials (and just people in general) never seem to deviate from their prepared statement and can never really deal with tough questions or pointed counter-arguments? It's because they don't know what they're talking about. They're just trying to wing it and BS their way through an oral final exam.

Lol really?
Stupid Quotes and Dumb Gaffes by Presidents and Vice Presidents

You can make entire books of faux pas of US leaders and indeed all the world’s leaders, tbh

Hate to break this you, but the US President hasn’t been expected to be an intellectual for literally decades. Granted our PM is often a dunderhead, but we’re a bunch of drunk criminals. So we can get away with it ;):D

I see it more as an indicator of how many people rise to top positions mainly because they know how to manipulate and game the system (and get enough friendly hype from fellow travelers) - not because they have any real knowledge or talent.

Trump's election should have been a major reveal of that phenomenon, even to those who never really believed it before.

Much of it also falls on the voters, since they tend to look at superficialities and image, rarely scratching the surface to see what's underneath. The media don't encourage that either, unless it's someone they don't like.

Oh I absolutely agree with you.
I was being somewhat facetious, since I don’t really like politicians in general. Even the folks I vote for lol

When Trump was elected, there was seemingly a collective eye roll from many. Like even our conservatives don’t seem to like him lol
The running joke was, hope he doesn’t accidentally nuke us, mate!
Trump was able to take advantage of his long-standing connections to take office, whilst building a dedicated loyal fanbase through… well okay that part kind of baffles me somewhat, ngl

Yeah, I won’t pretend we don’t do that either. But yeah it does seem a bit “shallow” in the US. That’s just the impression I get, so I believe you.
