I, along with a friend, have been accepted for a software-project mentor position at Udacity. It's a part-time position, but it should give immense technical experience due to the number of submitted projects. Udacity is one of the most active online educational platforms.

I was fighting fatigue to finish both tests yesterday, so it feels quite rewarding to be accepted. Hopefully the experience will pay off too!

What do you do as a mentor there? Just grading? Or is there tutoring, making lectures etc?

Congrats! :)

Thanks! I really appreciate it. :)

Making courses is for instructors, not mentors. I may apply to be an instructor somewhere down the line, but not for the foreseeable future.

Mentors primarily grade students' work, give feedback on it, and suggest changes to meet rubric requirements and increase knowledge within the field. They also tutor to an extent, although not as extensively as instructors do.
