Though I also enjoy Soundgarden and Nirvana... I'm not sure you could pay me to put up with Pearl Jam. Can't stand his voice.

Alice in Chains by miles.
They're my second in the list. Nirvana I've never been much for, and in certain moods I can find Chris Cornell too whiny. So that leaves Pearl Jam.
I just like their first album and a few songs after that.
I'm thinking Allison Chains too.

Absolutely. Gosh I love all the albums from the Layne era, but I'd have to say my favorite is the Tripod album, it's so grungy!
