Bible is another word for book. However, if someone were to spell Bible with a lowercase b, I'd still assume they were talking about the Christian Holy Bible. Even the Spanish word for library is "biblioteca", which sounds suspiciously like Bible.

If you say "The Bible" it should be capitalised.
But the word 'bible' can refer to other books and need not be capitalised..

What the Big Bang has got to do with this is beyond my simple mind.
