Evidence please.
I'll wait.

As i said "don't often"

I cannot remember the last time a non theists flew a plane into a building or blew up a city centre
WW2 ring any bells? Vietnam? Iraq? Pretty much every war in the last 100 years saw non-theists exerting their lust for wealth, power, and blood by bombing cities and killing non-combatants to terrorize the "enemy" into submission. And God didn't even factor into it.

Just look at Ukraine today. Or Syria.

No, they do what in sociology is called the little everyday evil and thus still hurt people. The problem is that for someone like me in a functional secular society, the majority of hurting has nothing to do with religion.
In other words, it doesn't follow that the world would be a better place if we removed the theists. That is my point.

Yes even theists do that and there are a hell of a lot more theists thsn non theists.

And i personally believe a humanist does not go around hurting people.

Well, in Denmark there are functionally more non theists than theists. Maybe worldwide you have a point, but it won't be over if we all just become non-theists.

But would you feel better if I became a theist and stopped pointing out than religion is not the only problem.
Not all non-believer believers are humanists and there is no one version of humanism. You are doing politics and that is a belief system.

WW2 Hitler was Catholic, Britain who declared war on hitler is a Christian countty who's head of state is head of the Protestant church of England.

Vietnam, Buddhist with the US a majority Christian countty, at that time you could not get a job in politics to make such decisions unless you were Christian.

Iraq, muslim again with the US and UK as opposition.

None of those wars were in any way the result of or directed by non theists.

Maybe god didn't raise a complaint but certainly theists were at the forefront

Many theists are "humanists". And many atheists are "darwinists". And vise-verse. Religion has little to do with anyone being either. And it can be used to justify or thwart being either.

The population of Denmark does not even account for 1% of the world population so not really in the running here.

I would feel better if we all stopped killing in the name of god, if we all stopped dissing each other foe different beliefs.

Of course not all non believers are humanist. As i stated earlier there a t lot more believers who have god and scripture as a guide and still crap on people

I will go theist on you now. "You will burn in Hell". Feel better now? ;)

BTW are Buddhists theists?
So is it is evil that Christians won WW2? So you are the result of evil and thus you are evil. ;) So am I BTW.
And Stalin was a former student of theology.
How do you even survive? You live in an evil world surround be theists and that you have a life is the results of the actions of theists. You are doomed.
Do you feel better now?

So we kill all the non-humanists or what? What is your humanism in regards to non-religious human affairs?
I bet that humanists like you are no more less that 10% of humans. So they are not relevant and thus not in the running here.
You are irrelevant and so am I as for our different humanism. I just know it applies to us both.

In your opinion. Facts often have that effect on people.

Are you saying that a lifetime of religion does not influence your actions?

You don't even have a correct scientific definition of religion. You use a folk definition and you don't even understand that. So stop claiming facts when you don't use them yourself. And now report if you have to. But you won't win by claiming facts about religion, because your definition of religion is not a fact.

If the building blocks of life, as those which are currently being searched for on Mars, are realatively universal, I disagree that life on other similar planets in the universe may not evolve intelligent beings also capable of searching just like we do.
Therefore, I am doubtful evolution can make the claim "we evolved" based on the very obvious fact...other planets that are scientifically shown to be far older than ours, have no beings attempting to make contact.

How would you know? Have you been to these planets? Has anyone?
Also, your "prediction" is very debatable, to say the least.
Life's been here for a small 4 billion years. +3 billion of which was one celled.
Multi-celled life has been here close to a billion years. Land life only a good 350-400 million years.
It took at least 3.8 billion years, trillions of species, dozens of "resets" through mass extinctions to get to just 1 intelligent species in the sense that it develops tech and can reflect upon the universe and ask if there are others out there.

This doesn't tell me that every old rocky planet with life on it is going to hold intelligent beings.
Instead, this tells me that intelligent species are rather rare instead....

Again this tells me, either we are alone in the universe or, God created us just as the Bible's says and we are the only planet with life that has fallen into sin.

Doesn't follow at all.

If you think Hitler did what he did because he was religious, you are out of your mind. And Hitler was not responsible for WW2, anyway.
