No, that I haven't thought about actually :)
Those two i do pay deep respect to are my late parents.

IMO ancestor veneration extends beyond the immediate family/ancestry one has.

For example. I honor ancestors I've never met (doesn't require a name, or having known them in life). It's about visualizing the past even before one was born.

That has not been a part of any practice i have followed in my life :)
But I don't say its a bad thing to do

Probably none, because I know nothing about it.

Here's a definition from wikipedia that matches pretty well with what I think of because I consider myself a secular humanist:

Secular humanism, often simply called humanism, is a philosophy, belief system or life stance that embraces human reason, secular ethics, and philosophical naturalism while specifically rejecting religious dogma, supernaturalism, and superstition as the basis of morality and decision making.[1][2][3][4]

Secular humanism posits that human beings are capable of being ethical and moral without religion or belief in a deity. It does not, however, assume that humans are either inherently good or evil, nor does it present humans as being superior to nature. Rather, the humanist life stance emphasizes the unique responsibility facing humanity and the ethical consequences of human decisions. Fundamental to the concept of secular humanism is the strongly held viewpoint that ideology—be it religious or political—must be thoroughly examined by each individual and not simply accepted or rejected on faith. Along with this, an essential part of secular humanism is a continually adapting search for truth, primarily through science and philosophy. Many secular humanists derive their moral codes from a philosophy of utilitarianism, ethical naturalism, or evolutionary ethics, and some advocate a science of morality.

If you want some unsolicited advice, I’d say don’t give up completely. Even if you can’t make a living from it and have to do something else to pay the bills, try to find time to paint.
Painting and drawing will always be with me in life :) just not sure I can live from doing it.
