What is normal today?

What is the framework of normality (norm)? This is the level of God's condonation of evil.

"Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you?" Matthew 17:17.

In Paradise, it will be zero, but today's condonation should not exceed a certain percentage. But under the Biblical Antichrist, any corruption will be condonationed, and the condonation level is 100%. Believers are forbidden to do even 0.0001 percent of evil in their lives. When they have done any iniquity, they go to the Sacrament of Confession in the Temple. The symbol of condonation is the well-known Yin and Yang, but this is not a symbol for Christians. It is a symbol of atheists and pagans. The balance of forces in Star Wars is this Yin and Yang.

Well, look at all the Christians who tolerate Trump's corrution.

So you guys are there.

Well that is an unreachable standard, so that's bad luck for you Christians, again.

All is well reachable. Because Church Building is reachable.
Ah yes. The old argument, that you can commit any horrific crime against humanity and/or nature….just go to a specific place of worship, get “absolved”, **Poof!** and get a golden ticket to heaven.
Is that today’s playbook?

Question: Which “Church”?

Normality is currently in a state of flux. The old normal, the atomic family, meritocracy and self responsibility is being challenged.
Which wins out, the new normal or the old normal depends on success. If the new normal is successful in improving people's lives, then it will be accepted. If not, then it will fail to become the new normal.

What is normal today?

Normal:
1. conforming to a standard; usual, typical, or expected.
2. intersecting a given line or surface at right angles.

And many more

There are many normals

Believers are forbidden to do even 0.0001 percent of evil in their lives.

Where does it say that?

Yin and Yang

Totally out of context, religion, language and belief.

Are you suggesting going to a church implies you are essentially beyond being evil? Talk about lazy.

I notice on the thread I have about what makes an authentic Christian that there is almost zero reflection on what the self as a believer thinks and does. There is a blanket assumption and attitude that being a believer is pretty much a guarantee that a person is righteous and good. Yet I see many of the sam members post statements that indicate they think and behave contrary to what Jesus taught.

So belief might be a massive blind spot.

It's a movie, a fictional narrative which can create any narrative at the directors choice. Like watching a Harry Potter movie. All movies have some moral message but the end/outcome is scripted.

However, in this case, I'd take the mark. The mark means nothing to me. Just another tattoo.

If "God" wants to keep me out of heaven because of a tattoo, I suppose that is a heaven I don't need to be in.
Choice seems pretty obvious to me, death or tattoo, except for those who believe in something they've never seen.

Making tattoos is big sin in Eastern Orthodox Christianity. God has created perfect body of Adam.

Tattoos are a from of art. Not sure why art would be a sin.
I guess though you paint a picture. Why though? Isn't the original creation perfect?
Maybe God doesn't like creativity?

That is what Jesus Christ did for my people on the Cross.
You are quite prideful about your status, which was gifted to you, you didn't have to earn it.

So what makes you worthy of it? Why don't I hear you believers express some obligation to help and serve your fellow man?

And by the way, according to the Bible, the sacrifice of Jesus was for the sins of mankind, not "your people".

God has created perfect body of Adam. Perfect form, perfect color, perfect all view. No need to modify the lines on the skin.

bad is good, good is bad, that's the new normal today.

Where God isn't relevant there is moral degradation, as you can witness with your own eyes around the globe, especially in Christian hemisphere of the planet.
