Solution to homosexuals is by government executions according to Pastor.

I'm not a kind of anti-gay person who denies what someone does or insult someone or let alone beat someone, I simply peacefully avoid gay company because their narrative irritates me.

I had to think for a few minutes about why "I simply peacefully avoid gay company because their narrative irritates me." bothered me, then it dawned on me: Gay people don't engage in sexual acts in your company, so why would you be irritated by something they don't involve you in? You might judge them negatively for those private acts, or you might associate those private acts with unrelated traits. In both cases, this is unwarranted judgement and can therefore be classed as anti-gay.

Really?
Ok. It also explains a lot of why you know so little of gay people
Why would I have to know anything about gay people?

We live in free world of democracy, why would I have to act as if I like someone? or as if I must accept someones point of view?
Are you going to deny my freedom of expression?

You're as free as you want to be a stereotyping (person). Just as we are free to call you out on it.

You are spectacularly wrong again. This is K D Lang, she's a pretty famous singer, and happens to also be a gay woman.

She's an amazing singer with a beautiful and powerful voice to boot.
She does the best rendition of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah I've ever heard.

Pastor says "solution" to gay people is executions: It's in the Bible

Wow.

Is it me, or is there an unusual amount of hate going on in Christianity today?
He's right. It's in the Bible. Factually it is in there, and factually that is evidence we are all best off leaving it in the annals of history and regard it as no different than the Illiad and Odyssey. This is because gays aren't the only ones the Bible wants dead, repressed, silenced and enslaved.
Amd because American Evangelicals have so severely regressed in their beliefs, fully believing in and accepting as real things their millennia-old Church bearers denounced as superstitious nonsense, I do expect them to be calling the execution of witches anyday now.

Let's be honest and say that this so called "pastor" is not Christian at all, he's quoting old testament while in fact Christians should behave as commanded in new testament.
But what's even more embarassing is that non Christians are unable to conclude this and label Christains in same light as this unfortunate "pastor"

'Christian' is a category of beliefs whose common belief is that Jesus is the son of God and was sacrificed for our sins. Pretty much anything else goes. Its accurate to call this guy Christian as long as he holds that one single belief, even if the rest of his beliefs are despicable.

I recognize that bigotry and selfishness doesn't represent most of Christianity, but I also recognize that I see an awful lot of silence from the moderates, leaving these horrible people to represent them.

You obviously don't need to know what you don't want to know but you do seem to be very opinionated on the subject. I found it rather paradoxical

Ironically it's hard to imagine a prouder more arrogant preening peacock than Trump.
Yes well, if he's not a member of one of those "elites" it's hard to think who is. But then Americans have always had a fatal weakness for a businessman. I suppose it's part of the American dream to admire business success - even if in Trump's case it's faked and may well be based on fraud.

Proud to be an American is antisocial?
Proud of your children, of your school, of your sports team, of your church is anti-social?

Seems like most believe it is anti-social not to be proud...
Pride in oneself is said to be a sin in Christianity, in fact one of the Seven Deadly Sins.

pastor is correct though in saying that pride is evil.
it's not even about God or the bible, fact is that pride is antisocial behavior.
How ignorant. "Pride," as celebrated by LGBTQetc. people all over the world isn't about "being proud." It's about having lived our whole lives being told by people all around us (you know, the loving Christian folk) that "you should be ashamed!"

Until we learned that there was no fracking reason for us to be ashamed.

You may not like our choice of the word, but I suspect even you would agree that "Not Ashamed" day wouldn't really express what we want to express.
