They said it wouldn't be used for 'that' purpose but....

It looks creepy. But it was only a matter of time, imo.
Humans love to play with fire.

On an unrelated note, the footage looks like test reel for the next CoD game lol

Everyone knew this was inevitable.
And that's just an early less integrated version.
Anyone who said otherwise was either naive or lying.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.

It does dosent it?

According to the article it isn't Boston dynamics per say but a Russian development based on Boston Dynamics.

It's not that accurate but I can imagine a stabilizer installed with an incredible increase in lethality and precision.

Something that small with lethal firepower would make for a terrifying encounter, especially when you consider aim bot is essentially perfected for precision bullseyes even at full movement.

It's why the Russian automated turret should be taken very seriously. I dunno if it has seen any action in the Ukraine, at least not yet.

Here's the video.

Imagine millions of them produced. 24/7.

They never tire, need food, or water.

Just a charge and it's off. If nucular power is miniaturized, it could essentially run for years without a charge.

Dark future ahead I think.

The teething issues self drive cars have had kinda pale into insignificance when looking at one of these.
Imagine terrorist hackers getting the tap on the shoulder?

'Why do you want me to stop? I've almost hacked into this robot Uber...'

'Because we have a new target, my friend. Metal Rambo, the wonderdog is working the Presidential Parade security route today...'

*Shudders*

The Sum of Awe

Brought to you by the moment that spacetime began.
Wow, and there is no reason Artificial Intelligence wouldn't rebel against humanity if it becomes smart enough. I think there's a reason why there's only one advanced-intelligence on this planet, and that's because we didn't allow the other ones to survive. I think that's only natural, one intelligence sees things differently than the other intelligence, conflict inevitably ensues. And we're doomed against machines, honestly.

So instead of Robocop, we have Robodog, huh?

I thought ED-209 would be the future of law enforcement.

Wow. Soon they’ll have actual robot terminators, I swear
