Managed to get a couple photos of the moon tonight. Hope some others find these enjoyable as I did.

Thank you :). I was honestly surprised I managed to get anything this remotely clear. I took the photos with my phone camera pressed against my telescope eyepiece :D
I have to agree with @ChristineM , though I am more than a bit disappointed. She was the first to reply and may have mooned you. Amazing pictures considering the technique that you used, but you just ruined my day:(

Amazing fact about the moon, it rotates exactly at a pace relative to earth rotation, so that we always see only one side to the moon. I always didn't understand this. And many people think nothing of it, that we only see one side.

But that's a big coincidence or sign, however, you want to take it.

The coincidence is even bigger. We live in a time where it's at a point that it rotates exactly when according to the article it was not always like that and won't always be like that. In fact, it supposedly would take a very long time to get to this.

Still a coincidence or sign.

So...agreed, it wasn't always like this.
But basically once the gravitational pull works to align the rotation, they'll remain in lockstep forever. The moon is slowing the earth's rotation speed (by an minute amount) each year, and the moon's rotation will continue to match the earth's.

There are a lot of planets/moons where this has occurred. And others where it hasn't.

I'm not sure why you'd see that as a sign of a Creator.

What kind of telescope are you using?

It does, but the size relativity has to be there or am I wrong about that?

When a less massive body orbits a more massive one, there is a tendency for the smaller one to become tidally locked.

Maybe you're thinking of the requirements to have both lunar and solar total eclipses - the fact that the moon and sun appear about the same size - which does depend on their relative apparent sizes. If either were much larger than the other, we could see the larger one eclipse the smaller appearing one, but we'd only get transits or annular eclipses of the larger one. Whereas tidal locking is not a coincidence, this is. The moon has been receding from the earth since its inception, and was once too near and too big to be eclipsed, and will one day be too far and appear too small to totally eclipse the sun.

Because we live in a time where it's locked into this when much time could be when it's not (and humans would be in that time). So this is a coincidence or sign.
