What do you wish Christians knew about your religion or your worldview? I am opening this thread to anyone.

I have a list. It's long where do I start???

Christians tend to know nothing about my beliefs and get very very scared of them with their lack of knowledge.

Biggest thing: Im not evil nor will I hurt you intentionally unless you give me a reason to. In fact im more moral then some Christians you meet. My beliefs aren't what youd think if you base your understanding off pop culture

I don't mind a long list. :relieved:

that they should really read their bible before making claims. might want to read it multiple times too. Jesus obviously read the OT; so they should know at least that much; if not more. Especially if they are going to make claims from it

Ok here I go.

As a pagan I mostly worship the Earth and most of my deities aren't demons.

The demons that i do worship as a demonlatrist such as Lucifer and Lilith are not based on a Christian understanding. They are entirely different in my belief system then what Christianity teaches

I honor Jesus. I've even worked with him in witchcraft. He's not my enemy and i interpert him differently then Christians. In fact were he alive today I think he'd hate Christianity.

I don't see and hear things that arent there. Most witchcraft is actually very mundane. Divination is mostly based on your intuition and subconscious and isn't typically used to tell the future. If i say im working with a deity or something im referring to things like dreams and divination and even spellwork. Im not referring to a deity literally appearing before me. I've never seen a deity in this realm unless you count Nature. It's possible it's just my subconscious im working with and not actual deities. I may just be interpreting it to be deities. Im open to that idea. Either way that's no issue to me. Witchcraft helps me regardless.

I dont interpret every little thing as supernatural. Mundane over spiritual always. Like I said witchcraft isn't all supernatural stuff. It's mostly spicy science and psychology. An example is spellwork. If you doing a spell for say self healing doing a ritual helps set that intention. Even if magick aint real(I believe it is but even if it aint) doing the ritual and spellwork still helps you to set your intention and goals.

I don't just hex people. In fact while my practice allows cursing someone i would never do so except as a last resort.

I don't do drugs.

I am not a pedophile. Nor do I want to indoctrinate children.

I would never force my beliefs on another or even try to convince someone they are real.

I dont do animal or human sacrifice

I have done blood magick but it's not what you think. I've only used my own period blood. If I were to use blood that's not period blood a single drop is enough. And my own blood as the caster would be more powerful then anyone else's blood. The only reason I see that I would use another person's is if they give their permission and even then all I would need would be a drop. I've never have ever seen a reason tho to use anyone else's.

I don't do massive orgies to do magick. In fact i rarely do sex magick. And even if I did as long as everyone consents it's not your concern.

I veil my hair but that doesnt mean I'm modest.

My religion is just as important to me as yours is to you. It takes up my everyday life.

Just cuz im practicing my religion doesn't mean it infringes upon yours.

I don't worship statues or idols.

And that's just a few things. I have more i could add

Sounds fair enough.

If they "really knew" about my religion, they would accept a few very simple things of my Religion:
1) "Never judge others", this of course implies "do not even think the other's (non) Faith is inferior"

I have plenty more, but if all Christians just apply this one, then we might have peace on earth (well maybe if Muslims apply it too)

I also wish Christians would realize my Love for Others extends further and is more inclusive and in depth then their theology allows then to even contemplate.
This. In paganism we are all interconnected. In my belief system to hurt another unnecessarily even a small animal would be like hurting myself. Now some pagans might disagree with that but thats what I believe.

To try to equate them to, even if its in attempt to understand each other, does both of our faiths a disservice
Only if you believe a Religion MUST be static and not evolve or improve

This is totally opposite to how human innate drive works
