In the Christian DIR, Christianity Overview sticky, I read an interesting snippet -

Furthermore, present-day liberal Protestant Christians do not define Christianity as necessarily including belief in the deity of Jesus, the virgin birth, the Trinity...

This is similar to my own personal beliefs. How can I connect with such Christians? Where do I find them?

Your best bet is to inquire at:
Divinity departments of universities
UU meetings

Check online in cities. Don't expect to find anything in rural areas.

A lot of these Christians, however, attend fundamentalist churches or mainstream ones instead of separate places. Also look at liturgical churches.

You might look at some Presbyterian churches or Episcopalian - they have many liberal churches.

As a member of the ACC, these views are actually exceedingly rare, (obviously, assuming the ACC is similar to the ECUSA, though I have seen no evidence indicating otherwise) and with the exception of John Shelby Spong, I don't really know of anyone outside divinity departments who holds this view.
