Life is Precious

For anyone interested in an argument from an actual pro-life advocate.

It started out quite interesting but went off the deep end when she tried to make an argument from nature. That wouldn't fly in a court room and not even in a moral debate.

Jesus never mentioned computers.
Maybe you and I are committing sin right now as we speak. Errr type.

I’ve still seen folk extrapolate and justify their banning using His words though. How interesting
(Amish, for instance.)

Although my favourite has to be those against video games. Jesus never mentions them yet He’s always cited by folks opposing them. Weird
Exactly! Just because Jesus didn't speak of something doesn't translate that it is OK.

Now, those who are against video games, maybe it should be in moderation?

This was AMAZING! Interestingly enough, people on this forum have used the "attached body" analogy. But this addressed it perfectly!

I've hit a point where I'm not interested. It denies autonomy to the woman; it claims ownership of her life, her uterus, and whatever grows within; it denies her the right to chose her own path for herself and lets someone else make that choice for her.
And then, of course, they need to start acting like they are pro-life because it's nasty misnomer because this group (especially in America) frequently is not prolife once we aren't a fetus anymore.

Ok, but in not knowing the other side's argument, it is difficult to find common ground.
Unfortunate that that a majority prefer to dictate from their own personal moral stance.

A red herring is something that misleads or distracts from a relevant or important issue.[1] It may be either a logical fallacy or a literary device that leads readers or audiences towards a false conclusion. A red herring might be intentionally used, such as in mystery fiction or as part of rhetorical strategies (e.g. in politics), or it could be inadvertently used during argumentation. Red herring - Wikipedia

The relevant or important issue is whether life is precious, which is the underpinning argument for the pro-life argument, and all that other mumbo-jumbo on that video is a red herring because it distracts from the relevant or important issue.
I prefer kippered herring.

I do know the other side's arguments. I've heard them for many years now and used to support them myself.
I've reached a point where I don't care anymore.

Well I guess one could misrepresent the vies and values of missions een more so, but it would take some work.

In short utter rubbish.
It's accurate. Like life is precious in the womb, but when it's out of the womb and gay the life is an abomination who your god wants dead.

That’s baseless accusations.

yes there is some jerk somewhere, but to label many millions of people that way is shameless bigotry.

A great many conservatives love their fellow man. That love is there even when they disagree.

the accusations that people only care about white people is nonsense.
That video is slander pure and simple I wish I had it in physical form as I would really help fertilize my garden.
