Hmm, could this be the start of criminal proceedings against the plotters? But the guy has had a year to get rid of the evidence. Surely he'd be a mug to have kept it on this computer and phone after all this time.

It could indeed be a witch hunt by the
you know. But no matter this motive, there were (IMO)
real crimes of treason in Trump's coterie to be investigated.
So it strikes me as a reasonable act.
It's 100% the exact opposite as the January 6th commission is laying bare to the American people. But I guess to some enforcing the law is a terrible thing to do if one's own tribe is the subject of law enforcement.
