What do you enjoy more at movie theaters? The soda? The popcorn?Or both?

I don't enjoy the feeling of being price gouged so I get the wife to smuggle something in her hand bag. Not that I've been to a movie theatre for about 8 years. I might go again if they stop only making sequels and super hero movies.

None,

I don't like pop/soda, if i want something to make me fart ill drink carbonated water

Nor do i like puffed up cardboard

But i do like to buy a tub of Haagen-daz praline and cream ice cream

And enjoy that while the film is starting, it just never lasts long enough though

Have you ever been in an American movie theatre? The soft drinks come in a bucket. I have no idea how anyone could drink that much of the stuff.

I wish it wasn't expeeeeensive. That's why I never ever buy anything at movie theaters. The popcorn's smell is pretty great though.

It's getting that way in the UK, got to be careful to ask for a small otherwise you need a trolly to carry it around.

And popcorn also comes in buckets

It most definitely would be, pralines and cream is a great ice cream

But cafe gourmand, 4 strengths of coffee ice cream from latte to espresso with edible coffee beans and caramel. And me being a coffee addict... Well, close competition but the winner is cafe gourmand.

I like them both too, Frank. That being said, it's been over 2 years since I stepped foot in a movie theater. I haven't been to the movies since the pandemic started. I am, however, very tempted to go see the new Downton Abbey movie that comes out on the 20th. I don't know if I will or not, because I was tempted to go see the last Downton Abbey movie at the theater, but I changed my mind.

It's been a long time since I've been to the movies. I just don't go anymore. Part of the reason is that, when I buy a soda, I find I can't make it through the movie without the need to run to the restroom. Of course, in the minutes leading up to that point, trying to hold it - it's hard to pay attention to the movie.

Much easier to watch movies at home, where I have a pause button.
