Confession booth thread!

I confess,
I have received Holy Communion recently having only confessed my mortal sins to Saint Louis De Montfort, and asked him to grant me absolution sacrament, rather than going to a confession booth with a priest who is alive and kicking!

I guess that is a very serious sin , but I use the treasures of Holy Eucharist to feed the girls at Capitol Hill that I pray to "Capitol Hill Queens!"

They are Jesus freaks, so I didn't receive the Communion for myself anyway but for some hungry ghosts starving for the flesh and blood of the lamb!

I do what the voices inside tell me to do.

On second thought, if Louis De Montfort absolved me, I'm clean and pure as a lily!

I'm actually much less of a sinner lately, just have some Religious views many find warped. No sins of the flesh (not even acts of self gratification) I can think of in a while, no porn, no even lusts or carnal temptations, staying sober , following the law of charity, praying for those I have wronged in the past, trying not to wrong anyone in the future, hoping to remain law abiding, no anger, nothing to be proud of, no covetousness, envy, no gluttony, no unforgiveness.

But, without listing illegal activity, feel free to confess your sins, and I will ask the dead Popes and Bishops I communicate with to absolve you. ;)

I'm a dreadful sinner, just not these last few weeks at any rate! I guess laziness is one.

I'm a worse sinner than you, then. Should remove the "saint" from my username and gift it to you.

Oh, I'm guessing you have virtues and gifts and knowledge I could only dream of having. :)

I have actually thought of changing my name to "Pope Frankenstein" though. Inspired by you and Pope Francis though! :D

I'm just really struggling, because life really sucks right now. FYI, I've only been to Catholic confession twice. I really don't like it. I prefer to confess directly to God, although formal confession is a nice option to have for those who want it. It's a personal issue I have, probably because of all the useless therapy I've been put through, as well as anxiety.

Aww, thanks. My actual name is Francis, too. :D:heart:

Well, here's a sin I'll confess - I don't forgive multiple relatives, especially my father, for all the horrible things they did to me and my mom. Even my mom, who loved Jesus and Mary her whole life and converted to Catholicism along with me (our family isn't Catholic on any side) said she couldn't forgive them and only went to confession once. I don't forgive those who haven't demonstrated they should be forgiven. It's not just my relatives, either.

I don't forgive my most recent ex for physically and psychologically abusing me, including sexually as he is a pervert, for a few years (I had a bloodied and black eye from the Birthday beating he gave me and it was obvious in a state ID pic I had). He's still stalking me, too.

There's many others besides.

I try to understand, but for some things there's no excuse for, no matter what sob stories we have to tell. People make their choices as to what kind of person they want to be, regardless of circumstances. There are many people who have been through literal hell on earth but ended up wonderful, compassionate people, although if traumatized. Some people are just lost and choose to be evil. We ultimately decide who we wish to become. So I hold grudges. But I still wouldn't be like my mom's oldest son and refuse to talk to my dying parent when you know they're dying, and they wanted so badly to reconnect with you. I would speak to my father if he reached out to me, despite all the abuse and trauma he put me through. So I guess I am more forgiving than most, in the end.

I'm a very angry person.

I have nothing to confess. It's not I am perfect or holy. It's just I believe in owning what I do. If I make mistakes I'll admit so and then learn from them.

I don't sin, however. This is beyond sin. :smilingimp:

Im deeply sorry to hear that. Sounds like hell for a lot of people you know :(

I was filled with rage at many people. Then I realized that people that do those bad things to people are tortured.

People who have been abused and full of misfortune can be very happy peaceful people. They remain compassionate!

People who abuse and mistreat others, who have only hate, are not happy, miserable, scared, and not peaceful!
