I have just woken up, had breakfast, and walked the dog...

I now have nothing to do

So, I created this thread

Ask me anything :D

I don't expect people to be interested in me, I am not vain and self-obsessed

But nonetheless, I thought that me doing this could be a bit of fun :D

When you tie your shoes, do you use the two loop method, or do you prefer using one loop and pulling the other side under it to form the second loop?

Now, that's a very good question

What I do is, I make each lace into a loop

I then tie the two loops together, thus securing the shoe

That's the only method I know although I am aware there are others

However, when I use the boots that I normally use I just slip my feet in, the laces on those are already tied but only very loosely

I hope this answers your question?

Perfectly; the two-loop method.
Me, I'm partial to the single loop, pull-through technique. I know It seems more complicated, on its face, but I actually find it ergonomically easier than forming a second loop with my left hand.

Questions # 2,3 & 4:
Do you prefer The Guardian, or the BBC?
Do you resent the fact that The Sun dropped the page three girls?
Partygate? Thoughts?

Do you prefer The Guardian, or the BBC?
I prefer to watch the BBC

Because I prefer watching TV and listening to the radio more than I do reading newspapers

Yes, I know that's a very lazy reason

However: I think that The Guardian is much less establishment than the BBC, which I think is Good

So although I prefer to watch The BBC I actually have a much higher opinion of The Guardian

If that makes any sense?

Do you resent the fact that The Sun dropped the page three girls?
That's news to me!

I think it is better for the status of women in society that they no longer do page 3 "girls"

Alternatively, perhaps they could have done page 3 men as well???

Partygate? Thoughts?
I'm not at all surprised by any of the claims

I think "Boris" (his actual name is Alexander and those who know him personally call him "Al") has been putting on an act to make himself more appealing to the masses - who are easily mislead by charisma

Yes, he's charismatic, but the man's a ****

Charisma is no reason to vote for someone

I think history has taught us this

Personally, I prefer less charismatic politicians

Integrity is a much better trait, I think politicians should aim to have integrity, not to be charismatic

Only a fool would vote for someone (or approve of someone) because of their charisma

And I am pretty sure this is happening with Johnson

I am enjoying Partygate very much, I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next

I recently ran some old stinky boat shoes through a washing machine twice. First with detergent. Then with bleach. They came out somewhat mottled and torn, but at least they were wearable. After using some shoe goo to fix their soles I found them to be comfortable. I might try dying them black. They were originally grey (or gray).

My question is: Do you have a calculator and what kind of?

Is cereal soup?
As in breakfast cereals?

I'd say breakfast cereals and soup are sub-categories of the same thing

But I have no word for that thing

Perhaps "liquid-based meals"?

Because cereals go with milk which is a liquid, and because soups are also liquid

However, this raises a further question: are breakfast cereals sweet or savoury?????

Personally, I'd go with sweet but I can see that it would be possible to argue this both ways

Edit: depending on the cereals in question
