I do not have a God. I believe that there is only one true God, the God behind all the true religions, and He is special.
Hmmmmm, among other things HOW do you know the gender of your God is really a HE......and WHY is he, she, it, "special"?

God does not have a gender. Some believers refer to God as He out of respect since God is not an it.
The one true God is special because He is the ONLY God that exists. If I was the only human that existed wouldn't that make me special?

Very interesting, especially since this God is quoted as referring TO the existence of OTHER Gods.....which means this one is NOT necessarily the ONLY one, right?
Also, if God is NOT really a HE, and is NOT necessarily a SHE, that leaves being an IT as the next likely choice, doesn't it?
Gee, come to think of it, could God be a "THEM"?

The royal "they" is used in the KJV of the Bible to refer to God.

Of course "God" has a gender. In English it is neuter. In many other languages it's masculine. I don't know what gender God would have in languages with animate/inanimate genders, artificial vs natural, high vs low status, or any of the many other genders.
And then there are languages with no gender....

Keep in mind, "gender" is a linguistics term for a type of noun class. Except in rare languages -- English among them - it has nothing to do with biological sex.

If you meant what sex God is, this is problematic, too. Our particular species has two sexes. Other species change sexes. Some species have only one sex, and many have no sex at all.
And this is just on Earth. Who knows how many quadrillions of other species there are on other planets with who knows how many different sexes?

It's a big universe. Let's not be parochial, and definitely let's not be speciesist.
God might be patterned after "other sheep, not of this pasture."

THAT it IS!~ I wonder now if God wasn't actually the FIRST "trans" person, thngy, God, out there. Actually, the way the KJV can be translated is such that God COULD in fact actually be a HERMAPHRODITE. How's THAT grab ya?

What makes yours so special?
In reality, what I like about the one I serve is that He actually understands what it is to be a human, what it is to suffer, what it is to pay for consequences of sin and everything any man can think of.

Not to mention that He loves us, wants the best for us... a great Father.

Or nonbinary like me...and even if they have no gender they still would be nonbinary. In fact could be called agender

But I believe in multiple gods which means a wide variety of genders...some are female, some are male and others nonbinary, others change gender....so there's that. This convo of one god dont apply to me
