It's a new year, so I thought I'd start a poll to assess the religious demographics of our current members.

What is your religion? Feel free to specify if you are an "Other," or provide details on the particular variety of, say, Christian or Muslim that you are.

Thanks for being here!

Baha’i Faith should be on the list.

The Britannica Book of the Year (1992–present) provides the following information:

  • The Bahá'í Faith is the second most widespread of the world's independent religions in terms of the number of countries where adherents live

Neopagan/Pagan. Specific denomination is Druid. Of the Polytheistic variety.

"Other" is not a bad thing. It doesn't mean anyone is being overlooked. Just have some perspective. I love being "other" and then having to inevitably explain then better defining who I am, so the other guy doesn't get to.

Wow! We're (the religious) in trouble! "None/Agnostic/Atheist" seems to be in the current lead. I'm going to have to do some ritual crap now to keep this trend at bay. :D

Christian, along the Non-denominational lines. Closely related (for understanding sake) would be along the lines of Church of God and Assemblies of God.)

However, I personally don't like the word "religion" but understand why we use the word. I prefer "faith" but that is irrelevant at this point.

RF's demographics are extremely skewed and inaccurate as to the reality of the real world, and have been for years. Even in Ohio, I know of more Muslims than declared atheists.

Iowa's known for being Christian, but in my metropolitan area, most of what you meet is atheists and agnostics, with a smattering of cultural Christians(don't believe in the religion, but like the cultural security claiming such gives). You do meet religious people here and there(of various affiliations), but there's not a whole lot.

Well, limited cognitive, moral and cultural relativist. Non-committed to any positive privileged metaphysics. In practice depending on context realist or absurdist/irrationalist/subjectivist/hard core skeptic/weird. ;)
